I had a very good experience with my doctor and the people, (I apologize, but I do not remember their names), who helped me see Dr. Rodriquez in Mexico.  I did check out the doctors here in Utah and I was appalled at the cost. Average cost was $15K,   I couldn't afford that!  It was less than 1/2 to see Dr. Rodriquez, including the airfare.  I had the lap band done Thanksgiving week-end in 2007.  Within the first 6 months I was down about 50 lbs.  On August 4, 2008, I started having problems keeping any type of down.  Even liquids.  The very first time I threw up, I was shocked at what was happening.  I was choking on food, I simply could not keep it down.  And I still can't.  It happens less, like only a few times a week, compared to every meal!   Even with this, I still have gained weight -25 lbs.   My problem now is I am in pain.  I can feel the band and it rubs against my ribs.  During sex, it is extremely uncomfortable, making it tough for me to want to have sex at all!   I believe I have an infection, but I can't find any doctor who will see me for it because I did not have it done by them.  I want it removed but don't know who to see.  Another problem is that my husband and I out of work and I can't afford a dime to have it removed.  Insurance?  Your kidding, right?  Our utilities are about tp be turned off, we're getting food from our church and our mortgage is the only thing being paid for.  My question?  Does anyone have an idea who I can see?  Is the pain I have an inclination of something more serious?  I can't get financing so this is something that I may need to trade for.  We are painting and decorating contractors with faux painting our expertise.  Does anyone know who I can turn to?
