That is incredibly dangerous - I am a nurse and I have never considered that. I hope you know how big your band is - if you have any initial fill etc. You can cause necrosis and die if it is too tight. NEVER reuse a needle. Your life is worth going to a doctor and being monitored. I wish the board would remove your post. -
23days postop and not happy

I am so glad someone else feels the same as me - I feel myself slipping. I am also 23 days out and starving! I am very discouraged. My first fill is April 5th and I am hoping for something because right now I feel like this was a waste. -

ams 1974 my weight loss is the same pretty much as yours only 4lbs since surgery - as soon as I started real food, even though my calories are low I stopped losing. I'm frustrated -

I also was banded March 8th - I had my first post op within 1 week and was just examined. My first fill is April 5th - I have no restriction at this point. I must admit I am really hungry this week. I am looking forward to my fill - because right now I feel like I could eat the same as before. -

Good luck - this is the beginning of your life. Remember the first few days are the toughest then suddenly you feel like yourself again. Try to take only pain meds you need - that is what make me sick and retch. -

I had my surgery March 8th, so I am 4 days out! Surgery was no big deal except for the morphine they gave me for a headache (caffeine withdrawals) which made me retch all night which was very painful. I'm on clears now - but see my doctor in the morning and I am hoping for full liquids - or - be still my heart - mushies.... I went to work today, maybe alittle soon but worked all day and actually feel human today.
