I had my surgery on my birthday July 2008. I really dropped weight fast about 50lbs in  2 months. Then I slowed way down and am down 85lbs in 19months so I have been a little depressed I havent lost more but on the positive side I have not gained any either. I still struggle with the emotional eating and have substituted hamburgers from before surgery to ice cream now. Although I am truely working on overcoming this and loseing the last of my weight. I do not regret the surgery and am sooooo happy with how I feel and look but still have alot of work to go.
