Today I bought more New Whey 42 gram protein shots (whole box), Whey vanilla protein powder, Hibiclen, liquid Tylenol, large adhesive pads, slippers, robe, more chicken broth, "Better Than Bouillon", timer, large Ziploc bags and more POPSICLES!! Already have chewable vitamins, chewable Gas-X, and chewable calcium, I didn't get the BBQ tongs... **Pre-Opt Diet Update** Breakfast (1pm) One New Whey 42 gram protein shot w/ 1/2 cup of skim milk blended w/ ice and sugar free popsicles (3). That's it so far... For Dinner: I will have One New Whey 42 gram protein shot w/ 1/2 cup of skim milk blended w/ ice and sugar free popsicles. Caldo de pollo con limon y chile, I will make enough to freeze for next week. Be Blessed!

Hi Keshia, I went to Dr. Woodman too, but once I was getting down to the approval they told me about their $500.00 support group fees! So I switched to Dr. Atul Madan at UT Medical no support group fees, they're free. Thank you Cinward2001!! I am looking forward to it! I was in Lane Bryant today and I told one of the girls this won't be my store anymore, except to buy accessories. About three years ago I couldn't wear their fourteens, so I'm ready to feel like that again...right now I'm in a sixteen and if I sqeeze, jiggle and shimmy I can possible get in one or two pair of my size fourteens I have in the closet. I love Old Navy they have cute tops for the summer. Keep up the GREAT work! Be BLESSED!

I am still nervous about the whole thing!! :eek: :eek: I know it will be aight thought...God doesn't give me the spirit of fear! Well I have five more days to go until banded!!! I will give it my all to continue on the pre-opt diet! Be BLESSED

Thanks Sunshine2, Seems like some people doesn't like to leave well enough alone. If ya keep stirring up dog poop the more it will stink, if you leave it alone it will dry up. Now that's "the truth"!

YEAH YOU ARE WRONG!!!I am not so many other PEOPLE I am SHEILA! So my success will be my success, point blank! No one will determine MY destiny or my outcome in whatever I decide to do. Yeah I messed up on the pre-opt diet AND! My question was should I tell the doctor...I didn't ask for anyone to PREDICT my success or compare me to the next person! If you can peek into the future you should be getting paid for it. I don't mind opinions, but when someone "tries" to tell me what my outcome will be is where get defensive!

Thanks for your OPINION. However, just because I am not following the pre-opt diet the way I am suppose too doesn't mean I am setting myself up for failure. If anything that's why I need the band! One surgeon tells me not to eat anything after midnight before surgery and another tells me to start a two week liquid only pre-opt diet. So if I tell him I tell him, if not oh well. As for going back and forth with my decison, I am glad I did! I had to make sure I was doing the right thing that will benefit me and no one else! All that being said, I will have the surgery on 1/11 and I will succeed with the band! I am MORE than a CONQUEROR IN HIM (CHRIST) THAT STRENGTHENS ME! BE BLESSED!

Okay January Bandsters, I was suppose to start my pre-opt diet a week ago. I mean I did, but I was eating a little meat here and there, but for the past three days I have be eating burgers, fries and I just had Chick-Fil-A on lunch! I mean a nice size combo! I go see the surgeon tomorrow, should I tell him what I've been doing? I don't want something to go wrong in surgery. My surgery is a week from today.

Hi Angyl2314, Glad you're doing great!!! I am getting nervous again, but I won't backout. Sounds like your doing well without pain meds...I hope I won't need them. I found the liquid Tylenol at Walgreens yesterday, so I will definitly get some. My surgery is next Thursday so I'm getting ready. Good luck on your healing! Be BLESSED!

Then I'm going to the school submit my papers for class on 1/16. So I have no earthly idea what time I will be in to work. Other than that it's a new day and I am giving this liquid thing another go.
