My whole life I have been extremely active. I joined the Navy at 17 (2001) and got injured in Sept. 2004, by 2007 I was discharged prematurly from the Navy due to my injuries. I tore my latisimus dorsi and almost tore my bicep from my humerous head. Ever since then my exercise routine changed, and so did my weight. I already had mild depression and high cholesterol, even when I was addicted to working out, and the injury just made both issues worse. My first thought of having the surgery was when I reached 220 lbs, I'm short, and have MANY medical problems, so that just exacerbated everything. I went in to the doctors office on January 13th 2010 and everything took off from there. After multiple tests and consults, within a month, I was approved. I found out that on top of my many health issues I have sever sleep apnea.. isn't that great!!! So, yeah I'm sure I weigh more that 220, but who knows, and I will have the surgery in a week from the time I am writing this (8 March 2010). I have no family in the area, the closest is 7.5 hours away, and none of my family can come to take care of me, so it'll just be a friend of mine. All that read this and believe in prayer please pray for me, I'm getting very nervous and excited :). So take care everyone and happy weight loss!!!
