  3. I have substituted food with ice cream...is that bad? Lol jk. I know it is but I love ice cream and it goes down so much easier than food does! I eat 2 meals a day, a protein shake for bfast, and 3-4 scoops of ice cream at night. I haven't been on the scale for weeks but the last time I was I hadn't gained or lost anything. I'm down only 11 lbs since Feb 1, 2011, surgery day. Down 2 sizes though. I think we all lose differently. I have tight restriction but since I no longer have insurance I'm dealing with it until I can't get liquids down.

    Bad Band Days

I had 2 protein shakes, a yogurt, 5 oreos, and a few bites of pork roast and green beans today. I tried to eat something besides the cookies, but they went down so easy and I was starving by 10:30 pm! Some days I'm so tight until late at night.
  5. I eat 2-3 cups of food and am not searching for food and can easily say no to it for up to 3-5 hours. My sweet spot is 7.5-7.75 in my 11 cc band. If I try to eat bread or something bulky more than once a day, it hurts my chest and when I start to get full I hiccup a couple times and then after 2-3 more bites I feel tightening and am no longer hungry. I can honestly say somedays I feel too tight, but then I think of the alternative of being able to eat what and however much I want...Fatsville! I don't get full in my belly anymore, I feel food in my throat sorta and no longer hungry.

    scared to eat

I got banded Feb 1st and have had 4 fills. I have all the restriction I need right now and am finding since this last fill I'm afraid to go out to eat. I'd rather stay home where I can eat with a baby spoon and take my time. Totally not how I felt pre-band! We'll get used to it!

    Concerned

Sounds like u are too full to me. U should be able to eat 1-2 cups of food and it fill u for 3-4 hrs. But call ur doctor. Id be worried about malnutrition and ur hair to start falling out if u don't eat something sooner than later. Good luck!
  8. I'm in the same boat now. Reflux and pbing when I eat solids. I got a fill Monday and am doing liquids now since they go down fine. Soup, oatmeal, yogurt, and protein shakes for this chic. I have 8.5 ccs in my 11 cc band and am losing my insurance at the end of the month. My Surgeon was aggressive with this fill and boy can I tell! Gonna allow a few days for swelling to go down and reassess. I literally can't afford another fill so I may have to live tight until I lose enough weight that things loosen up on their own.
  9. I had port revision surgery as well 2 months post op. I also have a kink that makes fills difficult. To make matters worse, I am losing my insurance at the end of this month so not sure how I'll pay for or get more fills. I wasn't able to sleep on my stomach for 6 weeks after my port revision.

a question I could ONLY ask here...

I too used to wipe incorrectly and had a lot of yeast infections. For years I have wiped front to back and shaved my pubic hair super low. It helps keep me dry and yeasty free!

Where can I meet a good guy?

Men at home depot usually own a house! Just a thought!

Where can I meet a good guy?

I suggest making a weekly walk through manly stores like radio shack, bass pro, the hardware store, and/or going to certain movies. If u see a Guy alone, he's the one! He's ballsey enuff to go it alone, yet pry wishes he had company. I met my prince at radio shack 7 1/2 yrs ago!

    Day 4 post op...shake issues

I use EAS soy protein from walmart and add a banana or some peanut butter with skim milk and ice. Id puke too if I had to drink whey protein! Good Luck!

    I don't understand

I was banded in Feb and have only lost 10 lbs. I've lost 18 total but I have gone down THREE sizes! From a tight 26/24 to a comfortable 20/18!!! I get so sick and hopeless when I just focus on the scale. Take pictures so u can see the difference. That's what I've done.
