Could this be the solution for me?  After over 30 years of struggling with an addition to food?  A friend of mine lost all of her weight after having a lapband installed, and I have known her since a teenager.  I never imagined the day when I'd see Sanchia thin... as a normal weight person... but I was WRONG!  Sanchia was the one who suggested I look in to having a lapband installed.  The only thing holding me back right now is the money.  My medical aid / insurance won't pay for a surgery like this.  I'm desperate enough to re-finance our house... but my husband is still a bit reluctant.  He's actually been my strength - and a huge support... but this whole expensive-surgery-idea is freaking him out a bit.Hopefully I can meet other people on this site who have been through what I've been through.  Hopefully.... there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel..... (?)
