hi hun im 13 days post op and feeling fine the stuff im eating you can have on mushy anyway,i stayed on liquid for 10 days then went onto milky weetabix and stuff like that xx

hi md it will all be fine have you booked direct with chris if so you wont have to worry bout taxi's so all will run smooth,you normally get taxi at 6.45 i asked for the hotel to give me an alarm call at 6 to get showered lol,my stomach was swelled hun it goes down a bit so i woud say you might still have a wee bit of swelling after 10 days,pack lightly you wont be bothered well i wasnt i wore there nighty,and the next day changed back into the clothes i went in,and just changed my clothes the following day to go home in good luck any questions or worries you have shout me or anyone on here will answer you hun

laila i forgot i also had muller light yoghurts after a few days also,my fav soups were the heinz tomato and oxtail ones x

poor radley she deffo is a bad one to deal with hopefully more and more peep's will book direct,and we will try and push the issue,hi laila the day after op i didnt really eat i just drank water,i tried a cup of soup and didnt drink it,i would say you will be better taking ready made slim fast or asda do measure up ready made replacement meal drinks which are very nice take a few of them cause you wont feel up to eating hun,and for when you get home you can have the shakes for brek and lunch then have tin of soup,thats what i done for 10 days and drank water and i was fine bet your getting excited now hun,take a mug and spoon if you want cup a soup the cups in hotel arnt very good good luck xx ps i took nurofen melts for my journey home they were great for pain releif on the go:thumbup:

i know my niece is getting excited lol,im not too bad with food,today i had 2 weetabix milky,lunch scrambled egg,with spag hoops and half slice soggy toast and for tea im having i weightwatchers fish in sauce only cause i like them cant wait for fill though:thumbup:

claire and ff im not to bad im 12 days post op yeaterday i had 2 weetabix in plenty of milk,for lunch i had 2 scoops of mash with a little carrot and turnip,an icecream afterwoods i was full at this stage and my tea i couldnt eat till about 7 i had piece of salmon in the steamer with some cottage cheese and i couldnt eat it all,i suppose it just depends on each person lol,by the way have you tried the new muller light yoghurts strawberry cheesecake,and american cheesecake absolutley gorge x:wink2:

poor mia i hop you get this sorted out honey as it sounds dreadful,and not getting enough sleep also omg i dnot think i could cope,but mmm,suggestions sound good hope you get some relief xx:mellow:

im feeling great lynda just wondering what to eat mmmmmmmmmm quite hard at the min dont know what i feel like lol

bet your glad its over and done with lol,i was by myself and i was fine but the night after is awful but it gets better and better lol sher what have you tried food wise today:wink2:

lol thanks laila it will soon slow down though he he,im a bit anemic i took plenty of iron tabs and milk thistle to help my liver as i was a big drinker,and vit c,im still taking the vit c and a multi vitamin and my iron just to make sure i have enough strength lol

that poor woman you shared a room with,that was my fear i would wake up and have no band because of health probs,is it somthing she can get sorted out and then get a band or dont you know:blink:

emsey believe it or not tom you will feel a hell of alot better hun,honest,thanks for that sher she wants to get band next month lol,she trying to keep up with me ha ha,i got mine out today all was fine,im still just eating what i was,i think im gonna have some farley's rusk though i love them,then go on to weetabix for brek,soup for lunch then maybe bit of mash and salmon for tea lol,i managed a whole tin of oxtail soup today and i feel bloated lol:tongue_smilie:

twilight you should be ok unless its longhaul just ask the doc when you going for your fill,pearce try mashed banana in a yoghurt or melon

sorry laila ive just read you are going fri 13th,you will be fine im not superspicious,just remember to wear lose clothing hun,i only took my washbag,and handtowel with me to hospital and wore my lose clothing going so i could put it back on afterwoods i never wore my own pj's,your in bed anyway and the next day you get dressed so i think it not worth it but that's up to you,and remember to take a mug and spoon with you and nurofen melts were great for pain cause you dont need water,i travelled by car so was great to take out and about good luck hun:thumbup:

no laila you can book your cab the night before, the hotel will do that for you,and i asked for an alarm call at 6 oclock so i could get a shower before i went,if you have booked direct it will be already taken care of,when you get there you will prob chat to other's who are going the hospital and if any of them are booked direct ask can you jump in with them after all you will be going the same way take care hun when you going:smile2:

i know what you mean about drain when they are taking it out it dosnt hurt just a very strange feeling like an alien worm is being pulled out they told me to breathe in then pulled it out it lasted for about 15 seconds i didnt find it painful just weired good luck to all the newbies that will soon be joining us as bandsters lol:tongue_smilie:

fullfat check if any of the others have there taxi pre booked with frederik and jump in theres you are all going the same way and the cab driver dosnt say nothing sher came in with me:thumbup:

Lol freckles sher is talking bout a girl we met getting banded,she told the airlin staff bout her op and then they searched her and had to phone hospital to check she was fit to fly lol and sher said the less said the better
