hi sammy thanks hun im fine,hope freckles daughter is ok i havnt read any thread yet but i will catch up,my father in law died who i look after so had to help the family sort everything out cant wait to catch up with you all,up to now i have 5.5mls in my band and restriction is fab when i started i weighed 16,10 and im now 14.13 so im very pleased up to now,i cant eat until around 5 but i dont mind cause im not hungry i just drink tea and coffee and have soup for my tea,i not bothered about eating normal food lol i will do that when im at my target weight hope you are all fine xx:lol:

forgot to say freckles i asked the nurse for a couple of the bigger dressing for the port and she gave me some,they are really good and very waterproof so your waterbaby will be fine lol,she can have lots of showers he he:wink2:

freckles i got opsite waterproof dressings and they were fine i changed mine about 3 days after op and then 2 days then took them off altogether to heal,but a guy i met there picked me some up from the local chemist there and it was a roll of waterproof sticky stuff to go over dressings it was great i could cut it to whatever size i liked,and he got me a pack of dressings not sure of price think it was 10 euro,dont worry about visiting hours they are not strict and you can stay until she comes back all the people did while i was there they sat next to bed waiting on them good luck hun xx:tt2:

hunnybee the sickness depends on the person or it could be an overfill you have to work with the band and judge for yourself hun,some people dont chew enough or eat to quick and that is y they are sick it it trial and error hun:wink2:

hi all i went with dr chris de bruyne and im so pleased i did excellent service,he is the second buisiest surgeon in europe so very experienced that is y i chose him hun havnt heard much of the company you are talking about i wouldnt trust them it could be acs under a new name for all you know,take care chosing,im so glad i had it done though:thumbup:

laila its so funny i cant eat a thing until around 5 oclock so i just drink coffee and a glass of milk,i mainly stick to soup lol,trust me you will no when you have your second fill he game me 2.5 so i was pleased it was chris deprez who done it and he is lovley explains everything good luck hun:thumbup:

dont worry hun he always puts it on left side about 4 fingers down from ribs you will be fine,and lillibo the pain eases each day i was fine by the second day but as you say everyone is different:wink2:

that 2nd fill i had was fantastic,can really feel restriction,cant eat till around 1ish and then its a struggle,but i think it's me aswell i feel scared to eat incase it gets stuck lol,but at least my weight is gradually moving yay:tongue_smilie:

i think it will sammy at the min i dont think i could eat a thing,i could only manage half a cup of coffee and im a coffee freak,and half of an actimel,so strange lol:wink2:

had my second fill today he put in 2.5 so im sooo pleased i now have 5.5,i feel like i couldnt eat a thing ever again lol but im sure that will wear off,hopefully i will shift some more of this weight lol:thumbup:

hi rosie cheeks glad your time has come,you wont regret it hun,no you dont get weighed before op hun,but when you go into hospital remember to take a ticket for your turn to sign into reception for your hospital stay and hand bracelet lol,freckles what do you drink,i like whisky and coke but might have to find another drink i enjoy lol:wink2:

hi laila your doing well hun,having my second fill tom yay cant wait,trying to do a bit of walking but im lazy like that,i hate walking but if there were a walk with 4 mile of shops i would walk it happily lol,freckles i think it is about a 15-20 min walk,but with lost of twist and turns and a bit of a grey town i would jump a cab lol:tongue_smilie:

there defo is somthing in losing weight lots of people i know who have gone on diets,end up getting pregnant and everytime i diet and start feeling great about myself i have fell pregnant,so i have no doubt your turn will definatley come fb and well done on your weight loss up till now.Freckles i think your weightloss is good and steady which is a good thing and you get to eat what you enjoy,what more could you ask for:lol:lol,lucky you,and just think you will be at goal before you know it xx:thumbup:

what a result charlene silly peep well at least you got it done for free,it takes a couple of day for freddy to recieve it so email him around fri and ask has he received it,fp what a lovley inspiring story,i love reading things like this it brightens up my day:smile2:.i read in a book it bad to keep saying or telling yourself that your losing weight,it has a negative effect on our brain,because no-one whats to lose anything keys,money etc,so i keep telling myself im changing my body shape for the better and getting healthier and i think it working a wee bit anyway lol:thumbup:

what bank you with charlene ive never heard of them say no,go back in and speak to someone else,when i done mine they wouldnt fill out the form i had to fill it out myself and just handed it to her and she put it through,try again hun:blink:

hi hunnybee,i went with dr chris and thought everything was great,care,op,hotel,you get a package including op,taxis and hotel for two for three night for 4100 euro which is great value,i think the throwing up thing can happen to anyone,depending on the food or if its not chewed enough,i think you learn as you go along what you can and cant eat,alot of people say to have wee small meals a few times a day and chewed really well you can try and avoid it,or sometimes people are sick because there band it too tight and they might have to get some taken out,but im very glad i got mine done otherwise i would still be growing bigger lol,by the way my hubby didnt approve,but i done it for me and trust me as im losing weight he is comming around lol:thumbup:

i know what you mean freckles,having the extra night in the hotel she will be fine and plus you are having the hotel up until you leave trust me she will be brilliant by then xx:wink2:
