hi spursgirl blondy hasnt been banded yet but she will be very shortly the room are either a double bed which i had or 2 singles,so you will prob need another room,have you booked your date yet?

hi hun glad you got date sorted out,it's now going to be your new beginning,after surgery you do feel sore and rough but the next morn i felt fine ust a bit tender,they get you up out of bed and take your drip out,then give you somthing to eat and you get sent back to your hotel around 1 to rest,but believe me you dont feel like eating i know i never,that lasted for about a week,then i just had shakes and tom soup lol,when you appetite comes back you just have to try and control it get your first fill asap and your second from your second fill onwards you will start to feel a bit of restriction everyone is different,but your pain eases each day it really does,we drove home from belgium up till scotland and back to ni and i was fine so it cant be that bad lol.i got banded in end of july and couldnt get a fill until 23 sep,then got my second oct and have lose 28lb i could have done better if i wasnt drinking alcohol and rubish but it is out of my system now and hopefull with my next fill i will be flying again lol xx

doing well lynda i cant wait for next fill either,was it hard finding the site again lol

congratulations kerry how lovley so much good news,that sounds like a perfect christmas hun,and well done on getting hitched lol,bet you looked fab,it's amazing what a difference 3 stone can make well done hun xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

poor you claire i would go mad too after spending all that money,but i have to say mother in law are very very annoying and i would kill my hubby if he went on her side lol im with you they should all have a bit of respect and all chip in as a family hun,when you get stressed your band does tighten hun so that is why you have prob been sick more,you defo need a bit of me time,look after yourself they clearly arnt gonna lol,you prob have lost a fair bit of weight hun chin up and make the most of your time left sod them and enjoy yourself look after you and they will soon come around xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi blondy i didnt have consultation i just booked and went over hun im from cookstown and i drove over by car lol,you will be fine flying back,your not sore as such more uncomfortable well i was you can email frederik wich is dr debruyne head man who deal's with surgery dates you can email him now and pick a date and they will hold the date for you on frederik.serneels@ecfs.be the package is 4150 euro and includes flights,hotel and surgery if you have a date in mind ask him on your email and he will say it it is available or not,they come over once a month for fills most of the time lol rosie cheeks,i had my consultation the night before my surgery with frederik in the hotel or you can call julie mckintosh on 07872963503 and see when they are next over she is the fill nurse who sorts out dates,they come to bloomfield surgery in belfast just ask if you want to know anymore lol

hi hun im not too bad i put on 7lb over xmas not too bothered cause im gonna start after xmas i think the next fill date is 20th or 27th in belfast phone julie the fill girl do you have her number ? she know when all the fills are keep up the good work xx

merry christmas to you all,i couldnt eat my xmas dinner at all,hubby made the gravy with the juice from the turkey and it made me sick anything to do with fat makes you sick lol so i was starving watching them all eating lol,the nice stuff went down well though like trifle lol,i normally eat once a day in the evening as i find my band tight through the day lol it just depends but im starving at the min cant wait for my fill xx

it's prob from when you have eat or drank somthing your stomach is like when you pull the plug out of the sink like gurgling,that is what happens when you get fills too or it could be wind,because you will still have swelling inside and it takes about 10 days to heal then you should be fine

hi kristal i dont think susan is on here anymore,she started the post in 2007 but you never know lol,i was done with dr chris as most of the people on here and i thought he was fab he is the second buisiest surgeon in europe and does about 30 surgeries a week,that is why i chose him and the package price is fab it's 4150 euro i think for 3 nights in a hotel for 2 peeps,taxi's to and from hospital and airport and your surgery your there for 3 night altogether and they travel over for you fills wich are about £100 per fill,but all in all great service

hi hun bread normally is a prob although it goes down easier toasted but it does get stuck and when it happens you will know about it it's awful lol,homemade soup is great i put pulses in mine and just veggies just so im gettins some goodness lol

im a pansy lol that why i refused all needles until i was in surgery lol,i think you should keep that off i lost 14lb in two weeks then it slows down and you can go up and down by a few pounds, i got my band at the end of july and for some reason they were'nt comming to northern ireland so i couldnt get my first fill untill september,then my second in october,then i have left now until after xmas but my appetite is back big time lol cant wait for my next fill,think crisp bread should be ok when i got back i was having a shake for brek and lunch and half tin of tom soup for my tea and after 10 days went onto mushy food like weetabix for brek,homemade veg soup blended and mash and gravy for tea lol

hi honeybelle dont worry about the injections im needle phobic,i wouldnt even let them give me my drip in my arm until i was in surgery lol they arnt bad you just pinch some fat which i think we have all got a bit of lol and inject it i done my own so it cant be that bad,bet ya getting excited now hun,but dont take too much you wont need it and you dont want a heavy suitcase when your tender

so glad your back home hun,i wouldnt tell anyone and just suprise them with your new cool diet lol,they will think your really sticking to it,your friends will agree it was worth it then lol,i see people looking at me expecting me to be instantly thin,think they get confused with the bypass lol well done hun
