5 days and still hungry umm and GRITS sound so good right now. I think I will try some ff Greek yogurt today. I don't even feel whole right now. On another note. I had ordered a few items from Lane Bryant a size too small and it all fit and I think I may send the capris back for a smaller size. Yay!

OMG! I have tightness in my chest and in my back by my right shoulder blade and sometime in the center of my back. I have tried Maalox and gas x and walking nothing is working I am miserable. I really wonder if I will ever feel like myself again.

Hi Melissa I'm 4 days post op today. N I am still note 100% I didn't have so much discomfort at the incisions but I am suffering with the gas and tightness. I don't know if it's the band that is tightening or what. I have tried all the gas remedies and still at night I'm suffering. I just want to get a good night sleep. Each day does get better I just hope this back pain and tightness will go away. I have decided to get out the house today treat myself to a manni & pedi maybe hit the mall. Maybe this will also help. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I'm hungry and I want something to eat. Still on liquids I'm terrified to mess up my pouch or have a stuck episode. So liquids it is at least til Tuesday. I feel your pain Rosemarie I am 4 days post op as I was SO CONSTIPATED I thought I was trying to pass a brick. I had taken mylanta it didn't work. I was told the pain meds would cause constipation. Anyway sent my husband to the store he came back with liquid stool softener ducolax it like a powder n u mix it with water or any other liquid n drink it. I drank it and waited about an hour and a half. Im sorry to be graphic but this truthful and I hope helpful information. I was already impacted from prior attempts so like you I had to resort to drastic measures a manually remove the blockage once I did that I could feel how the liquid ducolax had gone straight to the point a started to liquify the poop. This morning I n felt the need to and I The rest just flowed out. I hope u try the liquid it works from the upper n goes right where u need it. Good luck because I know it is a miserable feeling.

I'm 4 days post op. I felt ok right after surgeoy. But now I am suffering with the gas pains. I pray for ur sake u don't experience them. They r awful n nothing I do helps. Good luck on ur banded journey.

Hi everyone surgery went well. I'm still tender and moving slow but I do have gas I can't seem to get rid of. I really need to burp but it won't come out. I'm also experiencing hunger I don't know what that's about.

I was banded om 6/3 and I have the same problem. The heating pad helped. I have not been able to walk as much because I start to ache. I have the awful feeling I need to burp n I can't. I have taken Maalox but still nothing. My shoulders and back r getting better I just need to burp.

I'm nervous I really don't know how I feel.

Ok I'm now officially banded. Honestly surgery went well however I did and still do have some pain. It's getting better though. I'm taking it a day at a time.

My surgery is tomorrow June 3rd I'm not sure how I feel. I guess anxious I just want to get it over with. I know I'm not normal. I can't even sleep. I have to get up at 5am tomorrow its now 1115pm n I'm not even sleepy. My nerves n my mind is racing.
