My surgery is March 16. I'm so looking for the start of my new life. I know I'll have to make some major changes - but I'm ready. I have a pre-op visit Thursday, March 11, and then it's count down to d-day. I too am excited but a little nervous. But I've read so many great stories, I look forward to a new me. I am 5'5'', 265 lbs. and 54 years old. Let's go Marchers, let's do it together.:biggrin: -
i kinda feel the same way. I'm not going to tell anyone but my immediate family and one friend at work, who I know will not say anything. and the only reason for telling her is I need her to watch my back, as in lifting and moving things. But I don't blame you.

Just read your blog, I too will have my surgery March 16, I hope we can keep in touch. 54 yrs old, 5'5, 265. I'm anxious but cautious. I'm self pay, so I have to be sure this is right. I've read a lot of good, but also some bad. Keep in touch. girl 55 in Texas
