Hello all, just wanted to check in and let you guys know that I went for my 1st fill today and got .2 cc the experience was ok and I drank a full bottle of water before i left the doctors office. The doctor said that I've lost REALY well for only 1 month of losing weight. I'm on liquids for the next 2 days than softs again than regular food again. I'm nervous for reactions so, I will keep you all posted.

Hey, I have PacificCare HMO and they covered me for both Lapband or Gystro. I chose the Lapband because it was less invasive,quicker recovery and mostly I like being in control.. Our insurance definitely covers the sugury so you shouldn't need to take out credit card or any other loans. Hope this helps. Since my surgury, i've lost about another 15 pounds. I think I have a total of between 35-37 pounds. i go get weighed on next Wednesday 11/08. Good Luck!

P.s. Ive also lostabout 7 more pounds for a total of 27 pounds since pre-op

Good luck Soni on tomorrow, good choice on taking a cab, I toused to live in Chi and downtown can be hectic on its own. I was banded on 10/16 and eveything has been going REALLY well. I have no problems and hardly any sysmtoms that I had surguery except a little gas n the ches. I'm also getting bored of the soup things. I;m ready to move on to something else.lol.. Anyone else feel the same?

Also, I went back to work on today and it wasn't so bad!

momotrips, hang in there. it will get better I'm almost 1 week out and starting to move like i used to. Your right about the going to work te next day..thats a joke..I'm glad to read that all went well with you though..Yuppy...lol

Good luck everybody schedled for today. I'm 4 days post op and doing well. I had my 1st experience with friends in a restaurant on yesterday. My mel was a bowel of Broccolli Cream Soup.. I was great and it sat well on my stomach. I want some meat..lol bu I know its way to soon! Anybody else have these feelings.. P.S. What is the pain in the chest that causes burping ro come on??

Hello all, just wanted to check in with everyone! the surguery went well, i just got home after my overnight stay in the hosptal, the staff was GREAT and i just wanted to be home in my own bed as i am now. My scars look REALLY good and you can hardly notice. One thing is that the port is swollen and I'm a little tender in thse areas. I'll check again on tomorrow I'm going to sleep from the liquid tyelnol now. Hope all is well for everyone else. P.S. I lost anhter 6 pounds..

Hello everybody..Well...I have less than 24 hours to go and than i go get the band. I must say these antibotics the doctor gave me are rogh. Also that Fleet Phaso Soda is a mess. Hello Everyone, just wanted to update everybody on my doctors visit on today. I weighed in originally at 389 lbs and than 379 2 weeks later. i'm so excisted that on today i weighed in at 368.3 lbs and the doctor was amazed and so was I 20lbs total. So, my surgery is on schedule and it's on for Monday 10/16 as planned. This was the best news for me all week especially after sitting at the primary care doctor ALL day on yesterday! http://www.TickerFactory.com/">

I mostly want to be healthy and I know this is the best option for me. Since my 1st counsulation in September I've lost 9 pounds on my own by just cutting out sweets, breads and fatty foods. I'm starting my liquid diet on today 10/08 and hopefully more weight will come off before my surguery date :clap2: I need your support and I'm glad to be here, I'll be posting regularly.:girl_hug: To receive band 10/16/06 Dr. Carson Liu, Los Angeles CA 389 1st Counsultation visit/379 pre-surgery/wherever I get is my goal 5'7" -- size 28/30,want to be 14/16 now!
