Hi! I had some minor problems with gas pains after surgery. It would have been nice if I knew that it would happen! It is super uncomfortable, but it goes away. I think Gas-X the chewable kind work. Also, the pain meds will probably knock you out so you won't be that uncomfortable. I was able to walk a good distance 3 days post-op. Walking really helps the pain. I actually have gallstones so I will be going through that same pain this Thursday when I get my gall bladder removed. In the end, it is completely worth the couple days of discomfort!
