Hi, My name is Pamela and I have been overweight all my life, I can't even remember a time when I was small!. I have tried every diet that I could think of , I would lose a few pounds here and there, but as soon as I stopped doing the diet the weight would come back and bring along friends. This was a vicious cycle that I became a victim to. When I hit my 45th birthday and realized that I had been saying this birthday I will not be "fat" for the last 10 years, it was time to something for once and for all. I have missed out on so much in life from being overweight that I felt if I didn't do something soon I was going to die and not have done things that when you are "big" you just can't do, like going on rides, taking a plane trip without worrying about whether or not the seat belt would fit. As a matter of fact the last time I was on a plane, the seat belt did not click, I held the belt like it had clicked as the flight attendant passed by to do her check. She never noticed! (how embarrassing!) I had all documentation to get approved, so that part was not as hard as I heard other people say.  I am 9 days away from surgery, I am so excited to start a new chapter in my life.
