I am 25 years old, soon to be 26. I am currently pregnant and due in March 2010. I have struggled with my weight since before I became a teenager. I have a great support system. I have not met with a surgeon yet, but I have taken the first step in realizing that I need help. I will be meeting with a surgeon after my initial check up with my primary care physician. I do plan on doing this within 3-6 months after having my baby. I have been considering this for about a year now and I feel it is my best option. Since I am pregnant and this will make 3 children under the age of 2 years, I will need this surgery not only for myself but also for them. I get out of breath when climbing steps, chasing my little ones and I want more for them and myself. I am most definitely getting the surgery and I am so excited. I can't wait to start my new life. I am considered extremely obese which depresses me very much. I never thought that I would ever be the way that I am. I have struggled with several diet failures. I eat healthy and I do exercise... You always get exercise with little ones! If there is anything else anyone would like to know, please don't hesitate. I'm new at all of this and I don't quite understand this section!
