So where does a person start??...hmm....well i am 25 and i have no kids and i am happily married i have always been very shy about my weight and i have struggled a very long time with weight issues...i weigh 230lbs (yikes!) you dont know how hard it is to say that lol...but i guess that is why we are all here right!...well anywho...i have started my journey with LapBand and i have went to the seminar and went to the doctors and now i am trying to get my paperwork all together to prove that i have been what i call Fluffy sometime now....soo i am a pretty healthy person besides my weight issue obviously lol...and my husband and i want to have babies and i want to have this surgery so that i dont gain anymore weight and have any health issues that could cause any harm to myself and my future child...more importantly i want to be healthy...well i have been very nervous and anxious about this process...in the midst of my collection of weight and height i have noticed that some doctors offices dont really acct for height very well...for instance in a months period i seemed to go from 5'3 to 5'4?? dont ask me how but that is what they have down...so i am nervous that poor documentation will get the best of me...also i want to know what a height of 5'3 and weight of 224 BMI is?? is it 40?? and if it is a decimal of 39.3...39.7...39.9 and such will that be rounded up?? or is insurance places going to be sticklers about it?? btw i have blue cross and blue shield of NC?? i would appreciate any helpful advice...as of right now i have no detected co- morbities?? anyways if you needed co-morbities how many would a person need to be approved?? please help answer my question thank you.
