2. Happy 37th Birthday 7Nakincy!

3. 8 pounds is great. Don't worrying about cheating that one time, just don't cheat anymore. You want to be as empty as possible on the day of your surgery. You'll do fine!!!
4. I've lost 9 pounds post op. I was banded on 3/30/10 and 15 days later I'm still at 9 pounds. Those came off the first week when I was mostly liquids and then nothing. Just like you. I'm working out 4 days a week and I only eat about 1200 calories a day. I started at 243 I am now 235. I'm not complaining either, but in the back of my mind as long as I see some progress every other day, I'm okay. I say. Stay encouraged. It will happen, but it won't happen fast. About 1.5 to 2 pounds per week is what the doc says.

Looking for Support...

Thanks for the advice. Not too confusing. I will try to "shock and awe" my body
6. I've lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I haven't seen any scale movement in 5 days. Should I be worried.

Is this normal?

Hey there... I'm having a similar issue. I was banded on March 30, 2010 in Memphis Tennessee. My starting weight was 243.5 and my current weight is 234.5. That's a loss of 8.5 pounds in 14 days. Most all of that came off in the first week. The scale hasn't moved in 5 or 6 days. That would mean that I'm on track for the average of 1.5 to 2 lbs per week but I'm a little worried too. I would just like to see some more progress. I've been working out about 4 days a week so I thought for sure that would help. I eat no more than 1200 calories a day. Stay encouraged. Keep going to the gym. I'll wait for a more "seasoned" banded buddy to give some more advice on how it worked for them.
8. Hello Everyone....

I need a little/lot of HELP!!! I was banded on March 30, 2010 exactly 2 weeks ago. I've lost about 9 pounds to date. I'm worried because I haven't seen the scale move in 4 or 5 days so most of that weight was lost the first week. Is this normal? I only eat about 1200 hundred calories a day so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can anybody provide any insight?
