Hi everyone!! My name is Nick and I am 8 weeks post op and have just had my first fill. I started this journey after my daughters wedding...I saw the pictures and was horrified. I had blown up to 245 pounds (at 5'8") my heaviest ever and looked absolutely aweful. More importantly, my colesteral and blood pressure were very high and I was borderline diabetic. Probably not an unusual situation for my fellow banders but alarming to me...FINALLY!! My target weight is 185 with my dream weight at 170. Since starting the pre-op routine and a reasonable exercise program I am now at 211, eating healthy and fresh food (my wife is a great cook, so no boxes and cans for us) and feeling great. My BP the last six weeks has been steady at 120/70 [ :-) ] but I haven't had my blood work done yet. So, at this point, I am a pretty happy camper, although it early and I have had the usual problems adjusting. More to come later...
