Dr. Sidney Rohrscheib - Any others on here?

I met with Dr. Rohrscheib monday (feb. 22) he is very nice and answered all of my questions! I am really looking forward to my lap band experience with him. Any other patients of Dr. Rohscheib on here? -
???? PAINS IN CHEST UPPER AREA

I get that sharp pain in my upper back...just below my neck, right between my shoulders. It can REALLY hurt sometimes. I find it mainly happens when I eat too fast, or eat too much. I think it's pressure building up due to those types of things. -
I had this problem for a little over a month. I finally called my surgeon about it, he was mad I waited to contact him. I had acid issues in my stomach. He had me try Prilosec OTC one a day. It worked! Fixed my problem. You might want to try that. I was in awful pain every time I ate and food was almost ALWAYS coming up. Hope this helps!

thanks for the help guys! I was taking Flintstones (which were recommended by the diatician at my surgeons office) but have found that lately I can't stand the taste of them. I have also recently had to go on Prilosec OTC due to acid in my stomach, no reflex... just horrible burning feeling every time I ate.

My experience hasn't been very good. I had to have surgery again in October due to my port flipping. I've lost about 20lbs haven't really changed clothing sizes maybe close to one size. I'm pretty dissapointed. I have nothing but problems with my band. I'm hoping to get it all figured out SOON! bummed -
Pain after eating?

I had my 1 week post op check up yesterday. Everything looks good and I asked about the pain. I am told it could be from drinking or eating something too cold or eating too fast. I've been more catious and it seems to not be happening now. Thank goodness! -
I was banded a little over a week ago, 5/7/10, and when I eat I get this sharp pain inbetween my shoulder blades u by my neck. Any ideas on what is causing this? OMG it hurts realllllllyyyy bad! Thanks!

about how many calories a day does your bugg tell you that you are burning? Just want to make sure mine is working properly...it seems to be giving me pretty high calorie readouts??

I was banded friday may 7th I'm getting my first fill monday may 17th. I'm very nervous! was anyone else filled this soon? Won't my port site still be sore? Just wondering...

I just re-read my appointment book he gave me. It's a post-op visit...so maybe I won't be getting filled? I feel like I need it though. I started not getting full yesterday. I guess I will find out tomorrow when I get there if he will fill me or not...but it's sounding like no. How are all of you that are newly banded feeling?

I'm 28 and have clear skin, but it seems that since my surgery this past friday (5/7/10) my face is breaking out! Has anyone else experienced this? Know of some really good facial cleaners that might clear it up quickly? Sorry! I know its an odd question.:smile2:

The port site is the most tender part and the only real pain I have right now. I took 2 weeks off because I work at Verizon Wireless and am on my feet there at least 9 hours a day. When is your surgery date again? As long as you have like 4-5 days off I would think you would be ok at a desk job. Sitting up is hard the first couple days. Keep me posted on how it goes!! I'm sure you are getting excited!

I'm 4 days out and starting to feel the same...very hungry! I get my first fill monday though, so I know it will be better after that! -

Thank you all for your messages! I'm feeling SO much better. Still a few gas pains and a little pain at my port site, but swelling is going down. I have my first post-op appointment/first fill monday! I'm excited and nervous
