i'm starting to feel that "does this ever get better" too! I was banded yesterday and I feel absolutely horrible i can't sit up it hurts too bad... hopefully it gets better soon! -

I am nervous about the naked thing too, but got over it. My mom helped me realize that these people see everything and its no big deal to them. Sorry if this offends anyone but my biggest concern is that I will possibly be on my period my surgery day...will them let me keep my underwear on? -
I'm not getting the watch display either, I don't think I would ever wear it... I've been wearing mine all the time, except when I sleep. Someone mentioned not wearing it while driving, that doesn't really have an effect on the data does it?

I'm wrapping up day 1 of my pre op diet as well. I found it to not be too bad! my tummy growled lots though! and i have a slight headache... i drank boost high Protein shakes, the chocolate ones aren't bad at all! -
I just bought a body bugg and set it up tonight. I have a few questions about it... do you all wear yours 24/7? and sync it up daily?

How exciting!!! Keep us posted! To me setting the surgery date was the best part ever!! It made this all seem real, like its REALLY going to happen! now the next 3 weeks are going to creeeepppp by sooooo slow!

Where in Illinois are you? I'm in Bloomington. Dr. Sidney Rohrshieb is my surgeon. He's so nice and sees patients in chicago, clinton, champaign, and mt. vernon. he's doing my surgery 5/7 in clinton. who are you seeing?

congrats!!! I am soooo excited for May 7th to get here!! Does anyone want to exchange email addresses or whatever to buddy up? I'm not sure if I'll feel like signing on after surgery, but am addicted to my blackberry! but would love to keep up with all of you as we start our new journey together!

It must all be based on the insurance company. I haven't had any testing done. I went to my pre-op appointment last week and they sent me over to the hospital to pre-register there I had blood drawn. That's the only thing I've had done outside of meeting with the psych. at the office and the diatician once at the office. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem

I don't have to have any of the other pre-op tests either. I can't wait for May 7!!! I'm starting to get nervous about the pro op diet I start friday though!

I am right there with you! Im getting banded May 7th. I had my pre-op visit today and chest xray as well as blood work. I'm nervous about the upcoming weeks, but at the same time I'm so ready for them to hurry up and be over so I can start my new banded life! -

So happy for all you ladies! I hope that all went well today! I had my pre-op consult and pre-registration at the hospital my surgery is May 7th I have 2 wks of pre-op diet starting next friday. -

LOL i'm right there with ya! I just got my surgery date yesterday and its may 7th! I'm planning out all my fav foods to eat before surgery! -
Anyone know how long it took them to get approved by bcbs of illinois? I had all me eval etc last wednesday and my surgeon was just waiting for a fax from my doctor then turning it into my insurance. Just wondering if anyone has an idea how long it usually takes to get approved? Thanks!
