Hey lady! Thanks for stopping by my page and speaking, I am trying to refocus on what's important and stop being so down about my non-weight loss...I have been hitting the gym hard for the past week, and when I weighed in this morning, i was down 6lbs...so..., prayerfully I will make my goal of losing between 30-40lbs by my bday @ the end of june. Be blessed!

Try not to be discouraged, the LAP-BAND? is a slow process and for some people (me included) it takes a while to get the the ever so elusive sweet spot. just remember that the changes that you are making (working out, and better food choices) are the life style commitments we have to make to get the weight off and to maintain weight loss. for me the first 3 months was very slow i only lost 12 pounds but i kept at it, because any loss is better than a gain. if you are not at your sweet spot just be diligent about your diet and your exercise and it will all balance out in the end. whatever you do dont give up just stick to it!!! i had revsion surgery in september and am still struggling to get back were i was before my band slipped. i have only lost 10 pounds since january, but it's 10 lbs closer to my goal. be strong and keep hitting the gym, maybe add another day or pick up the duration or intensity of your workouts. keep me posted on your progress.

I just read your post and couldn't help but write. You DON'T suck. But we're all different, and it seems like you are going to need to be really filled fully to experience restriction. I have far less than anyone else in my band - and when I have too much I puke my guts up. We're all so different. I think you're right, though, your doctor is the jerk. We feel badly enough about ourselves without our doctors beating us up emotionally. You chose the band for a good reason, and I trust that eventually you will get to a better place with it. In the meantime, have you looked for another doctor in your area? The guy who did the surgery does not have to be the guy who does the fills. Good luck.
