    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I liked the velvety potato Campbells Soup In Hand. It was/is really good. I didn't like the creamy chicken one myself. They are really convenient too. Just pull the top and zap in microwave. I am glad you are doing better today Audree.

Dianne, I am so sorry to hear that about your MIL. I know it must be hard on all of you. My thoughts will be with you all. Mary, I am sorry to hear about your bum. That has to be a drag. I hope everyone else is doing well. Take care.

    Have anyone of filled yourself.

I wish you the best. And I hope you haven't damaged your port. The idea of giving myself a fill freaks me completely out.

    Mushies Stage Recipes

I don't remember the name of it, but the one I bought was to foo fooey for me. It had a lot of things in it that I just don't have around the house. If I have to buy 5 or 6 items in order to make the recipe, it just isn't worth it. Just my .02 worth.

    Mexico

I had my surgery in Mexico. I would do it again in a heart beat. It was no big deal. They are super nice to the patients. Just do your research. You will find a doc with a lot of experience and will feel fine about going. Talk to some of his former patients. They will give you the contact info. And read a lot of these posts. That will help you with your decision as well. Good luck. There is a lot to read. :-)

Jimboss, I am so happy you got into someone's cancellation. That is awesome!!!!!!!!! Jessica, I agree, don't sweat it. You will have that back off in no time. You are doing great. Just keep up the exercising. I swear it makes such a difference. It sure has for me.

    banding & dealing with work?

I wish I had kept it a secret. I would tell them you are having a hernia repaired. Later on down the road when the weight comes off, you are just eating smaller portions and exercising. When you go to lunch with them, they will see the smaller portions. While you are on the liquid phase, you can have a "stomach flu" that you just can't shake. I think it is fine not to tell anyone. It is completely your business.

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

Hi Susan, When I am craving something sweet, I eat a pickle. I know it is kind of weird, but it really helps the craving go away. I have been eating one almost every day lately and it tides me over until my dinner. I know you can't eat solid food yet, but when you can, you might try it and see if it will work for you.

Darcy, I am up for the distance challenge. I don't have my treadmill at the moment, but I will keep track of my bike miles. My treadmill is at my dad's house. My stepmother had open heart surgery in November and is supposedly walking on it to build her stamina back up. I think she walks on it about 2 minutes a day. She is supposed to walk on it more like 30 but not all at one time. I hope they get tired of it in the living room and bring it back. But until then, the bike miles will have to do. BTW, my bike butt is all better now. lol But I am still only riding for 30 minutes. I can't seem to push myself any farther. I am not really complaining though, the weight just keeps falling off. It is the weirdest thing.lol

    Finally in Onederland!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats. Your hard work is paying off. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Yep. You need to get it going a.s.a.p. It will take like 2 months to get it. I just go my family member'd done. It was longer than the 6 weeks they said it would be. I am sure it is because needing it to go to Mexico is new. Good luck on your surgery. It is a life changing experience!!!!!!!!

    Gall Bladder

I had mine removed several years ago. A fatty dinner caused a flair up. I had a stone bigger than a golfball. I had no idea until that night. It was wild.
  24. I had my second fill yesterday. I am now at 2.4 in my 4.0 band.

    Hello all

If you research and make a good doc choice, don't worry about going to Mexico. I did and it was great.
