Carmille, Do you go every week? So it would be 79 bucks a week plus meds? Actually I don't have a very good before pic. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I did measure before, but haven't yet again. I am sure it is quite a few inches. I can really feel it.

Bless your heart, Patty. Hang in there. One foot in front of the other is good. Sometimes that is enough to get you through until the next day.

October Bandsters how much weight have you lost so far?
~Jules~ replied to alicat3924's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I was banded on October 26. I have lost 45 pounds so far. I have had 2 fills. I joined the gym this weeks. I have been 3 times so far. Last night I did the bike for 60 minutes and walked for 12. I have a blister on the bottom of one of my toes, so I didn't walk as long as I wanted to. The night before last I rode the bike for 45 minutes and walked for 45 minutes. I am bound and determined to get this fat off me!!!!!!!!!!! lol -
Hi Stacey, Who does your fills? Do you live in Texas by any chance? I was banded by Dr. Rodriguez as well. He was great!!!!!

Has LBT helped or hindered your success?
~Jules~ replied to StephC's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have followed my docs orders and contribute my weight loss to my own hard work. But I have enjoyed LBT very much for the support. It has helped me because I don't know hardly any other Bandsters and I like chatting with others that are going through the same things I am. -

This is the kind of snow we have here in Texas.
-
Beanie, I hope she works out so you get some help while you are gone.
-
Gaffer............. It was just that. A joke. You didn't ruin anything.
-
DrewsLou, Does your insurance pay for fills?
-
Are you drinking when you are eating?
-
I pay $250. My insurance doesn't pay anything.

I have been eating the Viactive multi vitamins. They are like a chocolate carmel. The first one seemed to taste a little vitaminy but not since. I feel like it is a treat now. I have enjoyed them.

At my college, there is a place that serves Starbuck's coffee and has muffins and stuff. They also have smoothies. They have a couple that are lower in calories that are WONDERFUL. They add a scoop of protein if you want as well. It costs 4 bucks, but is a meal that tastes terrific. Unfortunately I discovered it just a couple of weeks before the last semester ended and my classes are on weekends this semester. :-( See if your school has anything like that.

I love being a loser. lol I joined a gym this week. I think I need more variety than just my exercise bike. So my wife and I joined on Tuesday. She doesn't have as much to lose but she is short. I walked for 45 minutes and rode the bike for 45 as well. I am pretty sore today, but it feels good. We are going on a cruise with my sister and her family in March on Spring Break. I would REALLY like to be under 200 by then, but don't know if it will happen. I know I will get close anyway, so that is good. I hope you are all having a great day and staying warm.

Mary ~ No, snow in not normal for Texas. It happens every now and then, but not usually for long. Our weather changes constantly except in the Summer. Then it is just plain hot. Well, we did it. My wife and I joined our local gym lastnight. We have been back and forth on whether or not to choke the money, but since I will be getting this new position at work, we decided to do it. Lucky for her she isn't as overweight as I am. My sister and her husband joined a couple of weeks ago too. We are all going on a cruise during Spring Break in March. We both have 15 year old boys. They think they are cool because they are staying in their own room. Of course it is attached to ours, but they still think they are something else. We have 2 months today to see what we can exercise off these bodies. lol My goal is to be under 200. I am at 215 right now. It is possible, but it might me a bit much. I will be ok if it doesn't all come off by then. But I am sure going to give it a heck of a try. I hope everyone is staying warm.

Tonia, that is cute, "Bandrea". I considered calling her "Hope" since she really give me hope, but I had already named her "Bandina" so I decided not to change it. I know I am silly, but but she is such a big part of my life now. I feel like I owe her that much.

Jimboss, that story is so funny. How depressing is 40-45 being "old". I guess since I fit in that range, I don't want to be referred to as old. lol Threebeauties, just remember that our innerds aren't rerouted. And how glad we are of that. You have done great so far. Just hang in there. Your sweet spot may be just around the corner. Jessica, cleaning house only counts as exercise if you are coming to my house to clean. :-) Shellybeans, the elliptical is hard. Or maybe I am just not coordinated right. lol 2 minutes is more than I could do. I tried last night and lasted about one minute. Moved right on over to the treadmill. Much more my speed. lol Thanks Chrispy!!
