BMI of 33, dr. in Mexico?
~Jules~ replied to sprint4425's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was at 36 and went to Dr. Rodriguez in Acuna, Mexico. He will do the surgery on lower bmi patients as long at they realize the weight will come off slower. He is a great doc. -
Not at my house. lol And apparantly not at Jessica's either.

Jessica ~ Throw away the cookie dough. Did I say that loud enough?? THROW AWAY THE COOKIE DOUGH. I know it is good, but it isn't worth it. Ok, I know I am not your mom, lol, but you are doing so well. Throw away the cookie dough. Boy, am I glad I don't have anymore cookie dough. lol If I did, I would be right there with you.

Bikergirl, You will be out there with them skating in no time. Audree, You are doing great. Keep up the good work. The gym is calling your name tomorrow. lol You can do it!!! We know you can.

Threebeauties, I totally agree with you. I have tried to get into another thread and have the same opinion of some of the "know it alls" in them. This group is so much better than that. We are all just regular folks trying to support each other. Cheers!

I can eat any and everything except breads and tortillas.

Turner24, When in a pinch, walk in place for 20 minutes or so. It will get your heartrate up and at it. Just a thought.

Yuk. I am sorry to hear this. Do you think there was any damage from their "misses"?
-

Audree, My first meal after my time of liquids was tuna. I was craving tuna salad so bad. Of all things to crave. lol

Happy Birthday to you, Beanie.

It will probably take you several fills to feel any restriction. When is your appt. for your next fill?

The bypass scares me. I don't want my innerds rerouted.

I think you should still do the surgery. As far as the protein drinks go, I buy the Slim Fast Low Carb. They aren't expensive. They are around a buck a piece. When you start losing weight, you will feel better and it possibly may positively affect your relationship. I know my weighloss has made my personal relationship better because my self-esteem is A LOT better. I wish you the best.

Julie, I do this too. It really does help me get back on the right track.

I miss drinking while eating, but it is difficult for me. Sometimes I can sip very tiny sips and am ok, but if I do more than that, it hurts.

Mypov, I have no butt either. It runs in my family too. But to answer the last question, yes they can add fat to your but. It is a relatively new procedure. They take fat from another part of your body and process it or something then inject it in your rear. I have researched it a little because I don't want implants, but I want a butt. I literally have NO butt. I don't know how rehab is with it, or how much it costs.
