    Whats "in style"?

Sweetviolet, The Salvation Army store in Dallas, near my work has the clothing 1/2 price on Wednesdays. I went when I was getting bigger and bigger. Now I have a closet full of different sizes. When I run out of them and still not at goal, I will be heading there on Wednesdays to get me by until I hit goal. Which I will. I won't stop until I get there.

Losingjusme, Let them know when you go in for the fill that you are starving. I was told that it was time to come back for a fill when I wasn't losing or was hungry all the time. You are doing so good. Keep it up!!!

    Sorry for myself???

The RNY scares me. You will look great in 18 months. Maybe even sooner. It is hard not to compare yourself to others, but try not to. We are all different. And as was said earlier, remember the reasons you chose this surgery and forget about the other girl.

    Whats "in style"?

Tie Dye is my FAVORITE. I don't care if it is in style or not. I have an old tie dyed night shirt that is so worn out it is thin. I won't tell you how many holes are in it either. lol Someday I will replace it.

Thanks Darcy, It isn't easy, nor is it cheap, but I am enjoying it very much. I am hoping to win the lottery.... oh wait, you have to play to win. Well, I guess that is out. Maybe the tooth fairy will leave a few grand under my pillow. Well, maybe not. I have to lose teeth to get that. Oh well, I guess I will just be in debt from the school loans. I guess it could be worse......... It could be credit card debt.

    Nectar Protein drinks???

Audree, The Nectar's are powder that you mix with water. I just drink a couple of ounces of a water bottle and put it in and mix it up real good. I then add back an ounce or two and have a togo protein drink. Sometimes I mix up a few at a time to save time later. I am pretty lazy so I do as much stuff like that to save time as possible.

    Nectar Protein drinks???

Hi Audree, I have tried several protein drinks and this is the only one I can stand. The green apple is pretty good. I just barely tasted the fuzzy navel one. I am not sure on that one yet. I will let you know in a day or two. I also bought the cherry. I haven't tried it yet. I don't know where you got yours but I went to vitacost.com or something close to that and got them for 27 bucks a jug. How much did you pay?

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

Audree, My sister went with me for support. While I was having my surgery, she and the other spouses and the patient coordinator went out to eat and shopping. I was walking around the hospital just a couple of hours after surgery. I was walking slow, but it sure helps the gas from surgery. I walked around about every 30 minutes or so, but partly for the company. We befriended the others that had surgery that day and walked together. As far as passing the border with the meds, the patient coordinator was driving us and she showed our meds to the guy. It was no big deal. The doc gave us the box the band comes in and it had all our stuff in it. Meds, paperwork, etc.

Mandy, I like Baxter for the dog's name. I think Beanie came up with it. I am not sure. I love that you took in a rescued dog. My youngest dog is a rescue as well. We got him from the Chihuahua Rescue people. He was a puppy mill reject. He got the mange and they didn't want to deal with him. It is treated with meds, but I guess they didn't care. We picked him up from his foster home and have loved him ever since. We currently have two Chi's. I will take pics and post them. They are spoiled rotten!! But I don't think you should have pets if you aren't going to spoil them. :-)

Hang in there Audree, It is so worth it. You will have a great trip going to TJ. I went to a different doc in Mexico and we had a blast. It was a great experience. I know yours will be too. Just remember what you are going to look like in 6 months. And how much better you are going to feel.

Kat, Don't wait too long to get the sensor fixed. My niece had the same problem and couldn't get her car inspected until the sensor was replaced and the light went off.
