I Am Also Glad. I Beleive In "mercy Killing". I Work In Health Care And Have Watched So Many People Suffer For So Long. Assisted Suicide Should Be Our Right As Humans- I Mean We Can Make The Decision To Lay Our Pets To Rest But Not Our Selves????? But There Are Many People Who Can't Make The Decision Themselves. I Know A Lot Of People Disagree But When You Have Seen Someone Bedridden, Completely Contracted, Weighing 75lbs And With Bedsores Large Enough To Stick Your Fist In And With Bones Exposed, But Worst Of All With Their Mind Completely Intact But Unable To Communicate, You Tend To See A Different Side Of Things.

:help: hey bandsters, i have a question. i just had my third fill about two weeks ago. every bite i take hurts. sometimes liquids even hurt. it seems that the first few bites are the problem..........it makes me feel like my chest is going to explode. sometimes if i can tough it out it seems to loosen up a bit and i am able to eat a little. lots of times though i just give up because it just isn't worth the pain. i would love to hear from you guys to see if anyone else has had this problem. i am at 2cc in a 4cc band. i have gone from 280+ to 217. i am loving the weight loss but i know i am not getting enough protien. should i have and unfill????? help me out guys!!!!!

loriely how interesting. i noticed that our stats look very similar. although, you are ahead of me on the wieght loss. I am at about 238 right now. I am so excited. I just want to shout from the roof top.........I LOVE MY LAP BAND!!!!!!!!! I had my first fill of 2.1 cc the other day and it has helped dramatically. I wore real jeans today!!!! No stretch, no elastic, real jeans!!!! I have never been so excited about life. I dont feel like a slug anymore. I have energy to play with my kids, go to the gym, and I have actually signed up for one extra 12 hour shift per week at work. I think I have control of my life again and I couldn't be happier. I cant imagine what its gonna feel like to get under 200............PARTY TIME. This site has been great for me. I love to hear everyones stories and I gain encouragement daily from them. thank you all.

I have to ask a dumb question.........what is pb'ing. New to lapband talk. -
I had the same pain you described but mine started just after surgery. The best way i could describe it is that I am like sensitive times ten in that area. Just brushing my finger across it felt like a brillo pad. Thank godness that has subsided after about a month. It was a very strange feeling. I hope there is no more pain.

this site is so encouraging. I am so glad to have found it! I am looking foward to talking with others who know where I am coming from. I just had my band on sept. 21. Started at 265. Now at about 250. My goal weight is about 160, so hopefully in time it will make that list. thanks to everyone for sharing.
