I would be so honored for you to put my prayer requests in the Wall. I have wanted to go to Israel, hopefully someday. I am getting closer to getting lap band. My husband has to get his surgery over first, hip replacement for him. I have been researching drs that do fills and have found one. Your story is quite an inspiration, I am amazed by your results. Hi Sandi, that's exciting to know weight loss is possible. I am considering lap band, in tijuana with dr. Ortiz. I don't have insurance to cover it. Do you still have to get fills? Do you have any problems with throwing up? My mom had bypass surgery 20 years ago and she has so much trouble holding food down and she has acid reflux very bad. She has kept weight off, but seems like such an expense for her I just don't know if it is worth all of that. But there is so much positive responses about lap band, I am wantint to try it so bad. I am over 100 lbs. Overweight, always miserable, my mom has more energy than me. Any response will be appreciated.Ju

Hello, I live in the alb. Area and considering lap band. How is it going with yours?

I have been thinking about lapband and it is scarey to think I may not be able to do it because my life always seems to center around food. I am so tired of being tired though and I want to be able to have a normal life, able to play with my grandkids, take a walk without huffing and puffing. There are so many posotive people on this forum so it is very encouraging. I am going to have to sell myh truck to finance it but I am very willing to do that if it gets my life back.

I am scared of throwing up if I have this done. My mom had bypass surgery 20 years ago and she can't eat without throwing up. She has kept her weight off and seems to be healthy. Any answers for not throwing up?
