  1. Happy 39th Birthday Nichol!

  2. Try going out for a walk or hitting the gym. Not only will it keep you busy it will burn some calories and personally, nothing makes me feel better than a good workout!

    Zumba?

My best friend is a zumba instructor and has students of all shapes, sizes, ages and coordination levels. I went to her class with her the last time I went to visit and it was a lot of fun and a lot more forgiving if you don't do it perfectly than other dance classes.
  4. Happy 2 months and congratulations!!! 42 pounds is a great accomplishment, keep up the good work and the great attitude!!
  5. My surgeon told me before I had surgery not to be surprised or frustrated if I didn't lose any weight for a month or two after surgery. He said he has seen there is something about women and the lapbad that it seems to just take a while for the weight to start coming off. Also, remember that your body is going to do everything it can to keep you from starving to death and it doesn't understand that you are on such limited calories for a reason and it will take time to adjust.

    Port placement?

I had my surgeon use a low profile port and it's just to the right of the midline of my body and pretty much in the middle between my underneath my breast and my belly button. I had talked to surgeon several times before surgery about having it placed so it wouldn't "fight" with my ribs when I biked.
