My doc is very strict and requires a 10 day liquid diet pre-op...I'm on day 6 and lost 12lbs. Day 1&2 were bad I had horrible headaches and was super grouchy. Now I'm not even hungry anymore...I do 3 Protein shakes a day, plus all the broth, Jello and popsicles I want. Oh and lots of Water. I feel better and have more energy...I'm treating this as a system flush...I'm excited to start my journey fresh! Good luck to all of u...I mean us...:party:

good for u! I am at day 4 and have lost 6lbs already...day two was horrible and made me doubt the whole process but I know that's just me trying to sabotage myself. My surgeon is also very strict and I signed a contract that says I will follow his every rule. I'm working hard at changing my way of thinking...and remember "nothing tastes as good as skinny will feel" I read that here somewhere and it is so true!

My name is Aline I'm fr Brazil but have been living in Oregon for 12years...I'm a hapilly married mama of 3. I have always been a little on the heavy side but can hide it well because I'm 6'4"....I made a decision to change my life after my mom died at 60 from diabetes complications and a sudden heart attack. She wasn't obese just overweight and she always worried about me becoming a diabetic and was worried when I accumulated 120lbs over the period of 8 years while I had my kids. I started my lap-band journey in February and am scheduled for surgery on Aug 13th. Which is also the one year anniversary date of my mom's burrial. I think my affair with food and bad habits is coming to an end and full circle. I owe this to my family and my health! I'm looking for new friends and supporters, so if you took the time to read my post plz add me! :wub:

It will b ok...breathe and start over! We r human and food is an addiction. Trust me I'm on my second and yesterday was my son's bday, everyone had cupcakes but me. I swear my body is trying to sabotage itself! U will b fine!:wub:
