I had my surgery in August 2009. I have my days where I miss eating some things that I used to eat. But I walk 3 miles a day, which gives me so much more energy. And I also knit instead of thinking about food. I think the best thing is to find other things to occupy your mind. I think for most of us food was a top priority not it isn't. I think I'm getting back to thinking normally, I was cleaning and hadn't realized how hungry I was until my stomack wouldn't stop growling. Eliminating sweets/sugar has helped a lot with my cravings. And of course I'm losing so much more weight. I was at 220 when I had my surgery and I'm at 165 now. This really does work, its the best thing I've done for myself in a very long time!
