Banded Betsy

Hello All,My name is Betsy M., and I live in Charleston, WV with my husband Scottie and two dogs.  I have always been on the "heavier" side my entire life.  I have never really thought about having lap band surgery until last year when my Mother had it.  After seeing the success that she has had with it, I became very interested.  To make a long story short, I went to the doctor six months ago, did the monthly visits with the doctor, had the psych. eval, and the nutrition consult, and was approved within one day of my insurance reviewing my paper work. I received my surgery date this past Wednesday (February 10th), I am currently on my 10 day liquid diet, and my surgery will be on February 19th.  Wellllll.....I am very excited to get to hear everyone's surgery advice, and getting to see everyone's success.
