i've had high blood pressure since the age of 11 and now, joy of joys i have borderline diabetes and ridiculously high cholesterol.after the usual yoyo dieting, extreme measures such as jaw wiring, detox retreat(liquids and enemas!), diet tablets(insane homocidal mania) and numerous fatfarms i decided that i wanted to live, be healthy and enjoy life. Not only do i adore food, but i also have a food addiction(not a great combo). After several years of debate and attempts to control my weight and health i decided that lapband was the way to go. I'm 2.5 days post op and know with complete conviction that i've made the right decision.
