Getting my band re-positioned next friday
zinhaa replied to Erin18's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
good luck -
So sorry for your troubles. Our bands are mighty fickle. You may want to try and get a nice large aromatherapy candle from bath and bodyworks. Some relaxing music and learn to breathe you know belly breathing. You need to do it at least daily. If you can't find music i have something i could send you and you can use it if you like it or throw it away if you don't. Good luck Wendy

You can tell. Are you following the rules. Cutting small, chew chew chew (20 min to eat). Are you eating protein? What are you getting stuck on. The dr can tell from a upper gi , fluoroscope or some X-ray

Any Happy Bandsters Out There With 5 or More Years Of Banding?
zinhaa replied to NeenBand's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
Donna only banded 3 yrs. If you can eat a sandwich that is ok but don't expect that to be they way all the time. There are many websites that have band friendly recipes. I do not know what you like or what you have tried. Like quinoa, thighs, chili etc. I find i can eat most things if i follow the rules except pasta, rice and most breads, This is the rest of your life so you should be able to enjoy it. i eat a lot of chili, fish or chicken. I exercise and last year i took up biking. good luck . Wendy -
I survived my first dinner lol

Your only job now is to practice the rules. So you slipped up. Your in the right head now. Starting all over is great. YOU can do this. It will be hard at times but keep going. Good luck wendy

Congrats great job and a real inspiration. wendy -
My opinion is yes. Sometimes it takes 10 days to two weeks for it to kick in. There is also healing time. It usually takes more than 1 fill to feel anything. Again my opinion is to relax and practice the rules and wait the three weeks. Keep up the great work wendy
