Sorry. I have not been here for awhile. I hope all is well. If you have any questions please ask. I get my fills at the new Pomona location with Dr, T but still see Dr. Madan.

I have experienced bad chest pains. I got my band completely unfilled and got an endoscopoy done. I also had a Barium swallow and so far everything is fine. The pain has gotten less frequent and less painfull. Has this happened to anyone? If so what was your outcome and how did it stop? Any info will be appreciated.

I also experience headaches. However it goes away if I PB. Sometimes it starts if I eat too much or too fast. Have you monitored your eating? -
Hi. Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat. If you are working out alot maybe you should get a body fat reading. As you work out you may be losing body fat but gaining muscle tone.

I'm sorry to see that you are having problems. I was wondering... What are the symptoms? How do you feel that makes you think that you "might" have slippage? I'm asking because I seem to BP'ing constantly and at times I have minor but annoying pain. I wish you luck at your appntmnt.

Hope you are all doing well. Before I got my last fill of .5cc I had 10cc. I was able to eat pretty much anything in moderation. I hardly exercised due to my busy schedule. Now that I'm at 10.5cc I can eat much more, I'm also feeling more hungry. I also started exercising more. To my surprise I have gained 5 lbs. WHAT GIVES!!!! Has this happened to anybody? I go in for another fill on the 16th. Even though I'm able to eat more I cannot eat certain foods because they are starting to get stuck more frequently. I'm feeling confused. Advise would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same thing pretty much. I was told by a nurse that the dull pain was due to constipation. As far as the Gerd it's because of too reasons... Either I was eating too much or I was sleeping face down. I cut down on my eating (I'm still not at my "sweet spot") and I have used laxatives. So far it has worked for me. You should still consult with your Dr. I hope this helps a little. -
14 CC Band vs Restriction

Hello. I got banded Mar. 2nd with a 14cc band. My fills were... 3cc 3cc 2cc and the last 2 have been 1cc each. I got 10cc now and I go for another on Thurs. However I sometimes get acid reflux at night but yet half the time i can eat two handfuls to feel satisfied. It's still alot less than what I used to eat. My Dr. said that on a 14cc the average person hits the sweet spot at 11 to 11.5cc. I may just ask for .5 this time. -

I need help. I'm 4 months post op. Just recently I started getting a dull pain under my rib cage on the left side. It comes and goes but I feel it more when I yawn or take deep breathes. Has anyone experienced this?
