I have not had the surgery yet. I have two more weeks on my supervised diet/exercise. I heard from the coordinator at my surgeon's office yesterday and she said we could tentatively do May 17th as my surgery day as long as insurance gives an approval before May 7th. I just want to have that final approval so I can breathe a sigh of relief. I am just ready to move forward with this.

I have not attended any of the meetings at St. Alexius. Do they have meetings for pre-surgery? Do you find them helpful?

I am still nervous, scared, overwhelmed, hopeful...the list goes on. I have not kept my surgery a secret, and now I wonder if I have set myself up for failure. I so much want this to work for me!
