Poll:trip to swim with dolphins in the caribbean
AngelaT replied to AngelaT's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I DO NOT HEAL MS, etc. Each person is responsible for their healing as I have been for my healing of my MS. Dolphins are very inspiring and healing and helped me a great deal!! Also for this site I was not planning on charging anything extra, it is essentially the cost of the trip, lodging, snorkeling trips etc. and my classes which are to help teach how to improve your healing in whatever area are not charged for for what I wanted to do... I usually charge almost 4-$5,000 per trip of going to swim with the dolphins and the self-improvement improvement segments during my retreats, but if you had noticed the cost is minimal for the trip(the cost is what it was without a profit for me) I had intended for us bandsters to know each other and have a bigger than life experience snorkeling and swimming with dolphis in the beautiful Caribbean. I have been symptom free from MS now for over 5 years and this experience was one that helped me on my journey and has helped people with cancer, and children with other illnesses. My goal is to share what I can with people about helping themselves with the wonders of nature we have...HOPE and a positive attitude is the first step to healing. Learning how to deal with anger is at the top also. I do not understand why you are attacking me and these wonderful methods that I want to share with people. -
It is preferred that you not wear anything tight. If you do just do it for a short period like a special ocassion. I am working 17 hours today at the hspital so I can't write long....

Vikki you are beautiful inside and out and remember muscle eighs more than fat!!! Really....I saw you in person and you look good!!!!!!!! now that you feel restriction take advantage of eating higher protein even id it is protein shakes...it builds muscle and keeps away fat. I am back on track today...I hope it lasts. I do need a fill, and I think I might have to do it here in SF instead of MX just because it is easier. the last couple of minths I have not lost weight... time to buckle down again!

HELP Wedding two weeks after surgery
AngelaT replied to chickatee's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Pleqse do not wear a girdle. Not only will it be painful, but it could cause some damage if it is too tight. If you cannot wear a nice loose fitiing dress, it is best to say no. Explain that 2 weeks after surgery many people cannot even be back at work. Take care of yourself first this time. many overweigh people are so because they say yes to everyone else but themselves. Good luck! -
:embarassed: Oh...thanks!!! You made my day!!!

The most important thing it seems is for you to relax. Try meditation, deep breathing, listen to gentle soothing music, eat lean protein and green veggies, especially asparagus as it is a diuretic. If you can get a massage. These are things you need to do on an ongoing basis. Low sodium is important...so as natural as possible. Use sea salt only in moderation...sea salt acts differently in the body. So RELAX...you will be fine...but really DO relax!:notagree

Tom, Yes a picture please!!! We have been begging for months!!!!!!!!! By the way...since this month my weight loss has really slowed down and I will need a fill SOON...plus I had gained from my trip and did lose it again...anyway by slowing down my body has been adjusting and the skin is looking much better...it is not saggins so much and it feels softer.... walking has helped of course, oh and good lotion...shea butter. I am in the midst of my son's wedding...the rehearsal dinner was last night and I pB"D BIG time!!! I tought I was wide open...but I guess the stress, especially sitting with the ex and his wife was just too much for my band! I had the worst PB yet to my history...I actually ended up throwing up ALL of dinner...sorry about the picture...but that had not happened to me yet...but it was an hour of pain and running to the bathroom every 5 minutes and not being able to explain!!!!!!!!!! Oh well...it is mushies and liquids today!

You can call me sometime or private message me... for now make sure everything is as natural as possible and stress is kept to a minimum. Yoga is very ggod also. B complex, calcium/magnesium are important. Good fats also.
