  1. Thanks again JoJo for your advice. You where starting back to work this week, is that right? How'd you get on ? Ok I hope. I am on my feet all day in work so thought it would be best to book the following week off. I look forward to reading all your progress. Keep up the good work.
  2. Thanks again MiaBlue and JoJo for your dietry advice. JoJo keep up the good work. Thats quite an impressive weightloss in less than a week. Now I just need to get my head together and start it. Now that its looming, all I seem to want to do is eat. I cant face eating first thing in the morning, but after teatime, I eat like its going out of fashion. I really cant wait for my new life to start. Looking at those photos in the daily mail of the woman who lost 10st really inspires me. I would like to think this could be me soon.....I can live in hope. Scooby Doo, I was originally booked for 12th March but it got changed. I will be anxious to follow your journey. Goodluck
  3. Hi, just another thought. I have arranged for 1 week off work after getting the band. Given the amount of wind and pain do you think this is long enough? Everyone is different certainly, but going on your own experiences if you could give me an idea. Thanks
  4. Exercise is a bad word to me at the moment. I'd love to go to a gym, but all I would be thinking about would be people saying 'look at the size of her'. Never mind. this time next year I'll be sporting my Olivia Newton John leotard to the gym. Shows you how long its been since I was last there, they where wearing sweat bands and big hair.
  5. Thanks JoJo, that sounds like the best way to go about the diet. Not due to be banded until March. Wish I ask for it sooner. Feels like a life time away. Will just need to try and pacify myself till then. Thanks again
  6. Thanks again MiaBlue for your reply.I was really set on having this done, then once I have it booked all the doubts start. I have another thing I hope you could all advice me on. I need to start on my pre-op diet. I know its got to be low fat, but could you give me some ideas at to what you all ate. Well done to JeanieJinx an JoJo . Looking forward to your updates
  7. Thanks MiaBlue for hotel info. I don't want to sound negative but does anyone have regrets about having this done. I realise that posting doubts may not be appropriate so, even if you could e-mail me. I need to know all the pros and cons of things before I can commit to things fully. I sound a total bore, analyzing everything an really I'm not. I'm normally a fun loving person, but this to me is such a life changing decision. Thanks again in advance 2plus
  8. Hi, I am sorry another daft question. I was going to take out travel insurance but not sure if you can get travel insurance to cover you if you are going for a procedure. Not that I think I wont come back an all that BUT.......So any advice on this would be great. Thanks again.....
  9. Thanks very much Carriejess. Another step closer to my goal. Congratulation on your hard work and achievement. I hope I can do half as well as you lot on here.
  10. Thanks very much for your info on flights Garry. But I still need your help. I have read that people have stayed in the Camponile but there are two, one in Vilvoode and one in Zaventem. Would you know which one is the most convenient one to stay in?
  11. Hi, this is my first post so apologise if i am asking question previously answered. I have been given an appointment for March in Belgium and need to book flights ASAP.
