you are not the only one. my surgeon made me lose 40lbs pre-op and I had surgery on 3-5 and went for my first post-op visit. I have not lost any further weight yet, but n either did I gain. My doctor has ordered my back to pre-op diet again adn return to the gym.. I will get my first fill on 4-12. It is difficult. I ahve no famioly here to support me, but my mother and a couple of friends back ho9me are great to talk to, but it would be great to really see them adn for them tob e with me. Some of myh friends support my lap-band adn others are giving me the cold shoulder. This was the right choice for me, but I cannot believe how your friends can change when you share the chanmge you are making in your life and they are not even happy for you...wow...at least you have your husband etc...that is wonderful. best of luck and if you want to communicate, I invite you to do so.
