So 7 days from today, March 30 i will be banded! Started day 8 of liquid diet and i am down 9.3 pounds. I wish i could continue this on my own with out the band but i have done this way too many times and always do good on a diet at first! Im excited to start my journey, just running out of patience and getting tired of this liquid diet form hell! This time next week i will be banded...exciting and scarry:mad: Say a prayer for me please!

So i made it through week one on liquid diet and hated every minute of it. Down 9.3 pounds so im happy about that. God give me strength to do this one more week before surgery. I went to a baby shower today, went through the buffet line, filled my plate, moved it around and pretended to eat so noone would know i was doing lap band,,,that was hard! :mad:

Im on day 6 of liquid diet hell! Im just going to sleep until my surgery on march 30 so i dont have to think about food anymore! Good nite all :eek::mad:

Ok, im on day 5 of my liquid diet, people said it would get easier, it hasnt. My dr. has me on 3 protien shakes 3 sugar free jello 1 cup chicken broth 2 cup light yogurt Does this sound normal? Im hungry and struggling, i have not cheated yet but this is so hard...any advise?:mad: Thanks, Trish

HI! Im on day 5 and its so hard! When is your surgery? Mine is March 30. Im on glucose control boost chocolate shakes, there pretty good. You can get them at any drug store. Every day i talk myself through it and think what the heck am i doing, it will all be worth it in the long run! Hang in there and good luck!

Im going through the same thing, my surgery date is march 30 and i only told my husband and parents. Im embarressed that i cant do it on my own, feel like a faliure! I also dont want to hear anything negative, maybe some day when im at my goal and i prove to mysellf i can do it, then i will share with other people. Good luck to you and do what makes you happy! -
