Well at least I lost a little. I flew to Denver for my second fill on Friday, went well BUTTTTTT I still dont have any restriction. Bandster hell !!!!!!! I am gonna keep on going. This may be the hardest thing I have done, yet it is still better than before the band.

Mom2girls I am so sorry that happend to your daughter poor little thing. I will pary for her. I am still the same dealing with the same 5 pounds up down get my second fill on friday hoping four restriction

Oh Man I am so with you on that one. I have been flying to get my Dr. Appts/ fills and I was so worried. It worked out so far for me but it is tight. When I went on vacation a while back we had to fly on a small aircraft (the airlines are doing this to save money) I almost died when I had to get an seat belt extension. The thing is what kind of aircraft are you on? You can pm me if you want I am in the travel bz. I have lots of knowledge on the subject. This is one of the reasons I got banded. Dont worry to much by your ticker factor I think you will be just fine. pm if you want and try not to worry.

Wow cynpatt you are doing great. We were banded about the same time and you have lost double what I have I am jealous. And Hello Pipedoc that is amazing . Good job I am really praying for restriction soon. Ugghh

Great job esv2000. 250 is my first goal got a ways to get there but I will. Go out and do something nice for your self you soooooo deserve it.

I broke out as well. Funny my sense of smell was so acute Weird.

OK I failed miserably at the mothers day challenge. Bandster Hell goin on Blah Blah Blah. Any way I will get off this plateau. And put me in for 20 lbs. I better get loosing. Next ( 2nd ) fill is June 4th. No restriction at all. So I am white knuckling it. All you guys are doin great with your weight loss. Can't wait to get this thing movin again. Hi guys I just got my first fill as well .It came late as I was unable to get my first scheduled fill due to a possible infection. I love my Dr. and the fill was quite an experience. Kinda fun little weird. Just like you Michael I was hoping to feel diffrent when I started eating solids but no, no diffrence Oh well Just gotta hang in there right maybe next month Ugghhh come on already LOL.

Is the skin red around the port ? when I went for my first fill the Dr. said my port area was red and warm to the touch so after a discusion ( I love my Dr. so far) About my $$$$ invested I am self pay. He sent me home for a 10 day antibiotics. It looks much better but still a bit red. I go back on Friday for a first fill again, by airplane again,. I hope I get it, and all is ok. So I would call your Dr. right away.

I am flying this thursday and my airport uses a full body scanner I will post Friday and let you know how it goes. I am more afraid of getting picked out for being to fat My biggest fear of all.

I am going to say 18 lbs I have my first fill on this thursday. But I am picking 18 because it will be my 18 wedding aniversary. So that is my goal. Havnt lost any thing since I started solids.

Thanks Leigha for the comforting words. I like this thread its so upbeat. I am 19 days post and not loosing but thats ok because I know from reading, that the fills are the ticket. ( Along with the lifestyle change). Any way thanks for the support fellow bandits.

Call your Dr. mine gave me patch just befor surgurey I wore for a week and meds under my tounge evrey eight hrs as needed. He told me the last thing he wanted is for me to get sick as that could cause damage. Call your Dr. to get you somthing it works.

Hey girl great Job I myself have lost 10lbs in 14 days I started mushies and soft food before you. Although I was banded 3/11/10. So my loss slowed down as soon as soft came in the picture, but I think that is to be expected. Just like you Its time to start the excersice. That has been my problem for some time now. Time for me to move on to that stage. When do you get your first fill?

OMG I am 7 days out and you dont want to be on a cruise ship This was the hardest week of my life I cried over grilled chicken one night LOL Cruise ship not Plus I personaly had a patch and nausea medicine every 8 hours for 5 days.

Ok guys right with you. I am feeling the same I really did breakdown and cry tonight had big fight with husband Kidda feel like an old lady waisting away in pain. I suppose I am bitching to much this was my choice. I guess it has to get better . I do know that if I had not done this I never could have had this kind of will power. I would be right back were I was . Any way lets try to hang I to am starving I itch every inch of my torso aches. Hopefully tommarow will be better. I think we are OK because we are feeling the same things with diffrent Dr. Sooo it must be Ok Right?

Dontgoggilme LOL I can so feel your pain, last night my daughter wanted to bake a cake for my husband Bday today. Then informs me that she needs to bring Fettichini Alfredo for her class of 20 HELLO. I made both didnt cheat wanted to cry.... ..........

I am 5 days out and I am still sore . Up and down all night. Only went back to work because I had to I wish a had this week off. I am hungry and my belly is making alot of noise. So I can relate with all of you. I dont mean to complain It is just a little bit scarey going through this stuff.

I had mine on Thursday went back to work yesterday Monday. It made for a very emotional day. Today is better. Off of pain meds now. So to answer your question 4 days after surgurey would have been better for me any way.
