  3. I have been banded about 10 1/2 months now. I thought about having this lap band for 4 years. I am a self pay. I will tell all you new banders. The pain will go away. And yes it is very hard no easy way out on this. All in all I can honestly say that I am so happy I made the decision. My life after 75 LBs is so much better in every way. I still get sad that I have so much more to loose but at least now I know I can do this. 90 lbs almost seems reachable were as 165 did not. I wish all of you the best. Hang in there. You can do it.

    I know isn't great . I have been wanting to make a a list./Book on all the things I couldnt not do and very truley afraid to have happen to me again. They are slowly happining every day. It makes me very happy.

    YOU DONT NEED TO TELL HER IF YOU DONT WANT TO. I MADE THE CHOICE NOT TO TELL ANY ONE. JUST MY HUSBAND AND MY DAUGHTER KNOW. ANY WAY WHAT I TELL PEOPLE IS (ONLY WHEN THEY ASK) . "MY GOAL IS TO EAT 1/2 OF WHAT I USED TO AND EAT IT SLOW" WORKS FOR ME. NO ONE QUESTIONS THAT. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE BIGIST PERSON AMONG FREINDS AND FAMILY SO ITS NOT LIKE I HAVE ANY ONE WANTING TO KNOW MY SERECT TO SUCSESS. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR FAMILY. HAVE FUN. REMEMBER THIS IS NOT A DIET ITS A LIFE STYLE CHANGE. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE EATING THIS WAY FOR LIFE. SO NO NEED TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

    WTF get to your Dr. and get a fill. I am a self pay and dont have any $$$$$ but I manage to save enough to get my fills. You need to find a Dr. that takes self pays. They almost always offer less expensive options. Dont give up Kayla.

    Zumba anyone?

    Well its all been said. I love Zumba I try to go 4 days a week. I really dont like one of the two instructors. But I go just for the work out. Yes Dance shoes are every thing. I would not try without them if you have bad knees. I was out of town for the holidays., and when I returned the classes with my fav instrutor was so packed. Oh well New Years. hopefuly it will get a little less full. Just go have fun it is really a judgement free zone, So what if you dont get all the steps . at least your doing it when was the last time i danced for over an hour. Go ZUMBA. Maybe some day I will be in Zumba clothes. I Wil I will.!!!!!!!!!!! 3/11/10

  14. I am going to get it all done. I was a self pay and NO I dont have $$$$$$$. I have saved and saved. I already have a Dr. picked out. He does not know it yet LOL. I still have 100 lbs to loose. But I think about it all the time. In the mean time I will work out take my Zumba classes, and stay on the program. I am sure when my times comes IE meet my goal, it will help to be storng as well as healthy. Just thinking about not having to put on the freeeekin one piece they make for BIG women make my want it evan more. 3/11/10

    I to have walked that wall of Shame. Both the ride and the seat belt. My God how pain full the embarrassment was. There have been so many of those moments. This is a good way to start out this week. Just keeping this in mind will help stay on the right track. I never want to feel that way again. great job on the rides Sweetbean. You go !!!!!!!

  18. This probly wont help Buttt I promise it gets better. Keep up with your pain Meds and rest / walk a little and rest. Please just let yourself heal for the next few weeks. Dont worry about any thing but healing. When you are feeling better you can start working on your weight, Now just take care of yourself and let your body heal. Hang in there and I hope you feel better soon.

    End of Year Challenge

    Im down one pound. Went to my Primary/GYN Dr. for my yearly exame and the first thing she said to me was, so I see you have lost over 50 lbs since last year. I said yes I have LOL. any way I had not told her about the lap band.( last year she was not for it wanted me to keep tying to do it on my own. "yea right". Any way She was very very happy with my results and is now working with me on blood test through out the year to make sure every thing is good while I continue to loose my weight. This made me feel good about myself. I am not very good at that emotion. So I was wondering should we do a spreadsheet for the end of the year. It really seems to help me keep on track. I have no idea how to do it. So maybe Betsy or Leighanne or one of you very smart peeps could set it up. I also think we should make the last day on Jan 3 its the first monday of the year. Just an Idea!!!!! Im up for what ever you guys want to do.... Thanks for all the support.. 3/11/10

    Cheeseburgers

    You guys are killing me LOL Cheese burgers were my thing. The bread is no longer an option for me. We were in Lake Havasu last month and of course we had to go to in and out burger. We dont have them at home. One bite of the burger and bread and off to the bathroom I went. So at the end of the trip on the way home (9 hrs drive). we stoped and I ordered it some style any way it means no bun. Slowly but surley I was able to eat it. Probly wont have any thing like that for a long time. One thing I have noticed is that when you dont eat the bread from things. And you look at you plate I think wow what if all that was in my stomach. Then I am sooooo glad I didnt put it in. Any way no more cheeseburger post guys just kiddin.

    Halloween Challenge

    One pound for me. I just can not break my plateau. every day its the same number up one down one. I swear this week I am gonna break it. Tomarrow is my yearly Dr. exam with my primary. It will be interesting to see all my numbers. I hope they are good. Wish me luck. 3/11/10

    Hey thanks Bree for the encourgment. I did not loose this week big fat 0. I have a fill on nov 5th. I fly for my fills my doc is out of town. So I am gonna be careful what I eat untill then. Hope all of you had better results.

    Well I lost 0 Zipp Nada. My own fault, My friend made sloppy joes, I did not do the bread. But that is most defianatly a slidder food for me. So no more Joes. Also the mixed drink on saturday didn't help. Ok new week time to suck it up LOL. Have a great week every one
