I had a good week. My beautiful daughter had a wonderful dance performace this weekend. I wanted to look really nice so i went looking for some new jeans that might fit me without falling down. Any way long story short I started with 24's and end up coming home with 18's Yeaaaa. 2 lb loss this week. I am happy. Hope you all have a good week. 3/11/10

I have gone without a double cheeseburger from mc donalads for a little over a year now. I told myself i would make it a year and now I have made up my mind that I will go the rest of my life without one. Miss it maybe a little but not worth it at all.

I am in. This will start my second year. I was banded 3/11/10. I was hoping to be down more, but I know that with out my band I would still be 82 LBS heavier. I love my band. I think I might, just might be at a sweet spot for the first time, thats with my last fill on last Friday. Took long enough LOL. Well good luck friends. Lets do this.....

Elfiepoo why are having your band removed?

I agree 1-2 lbs a week. At the very most. This has been my experiance. Im a slow looser.

I eat salad with no problems.

Yes this happened to me on my first fill , no hematoma. But my Dr. thought I might have an infection. So I flew to Denver and instead of a fill I was sent home with antibiotics. The Dr. and I both agreed that it was not worth the risk. I am a self pay. This does mean you will be in bandster hell longer, so stay strong. Try not to worry just start working out and it will be time for your fill sooner than you know. Remember this is for life no quick fix LOL. Keep up the good work. And good luck. Band 3/11/10

"Dont mess with a Surgeon's work". I love it sooo true. That reminds me of when I first had my surguery . My Dr told me he didnt want me messing with his insicions. ( We were talking about Bathing and what not). He really ment it. I love my Dr. and the fact he is very pround of the work he does. I fly to Denver for my fills. It is worth it to me just to have Dr K take care of me. I would never ever do it my self. Doin your own fills is just plain Stupid . In my oipinion LOL.
