I am happy to hear you are still doing great---only 6-9 pounds from your goal sounds wonderful. I too was banded in 2006. I never joined a support group or participated on any online groups but I seem to have strayed from my motivation and have been fighting the band for the last 6 months. I decided I need some support. Thanks for posting.

I told myself I would visit this site everyday to feel connected. I have never been in a support group. My first month after surgury I lost 19 pounds but my total highest loss was 65---now I have gone up ten pounds. I know it is time to get back on track. I have been fighting the band and feel terrible about it. I guess I am just looking for people who have been through the same struggles and overcame them.

Thanks for sharing your success. I too am 3 1/2 years out but I have been struggling lately and seem to be fighting the band. How did you stay on track. I need help.
