LOL Yes Diana , I understand the Pressure cleaning ...with our native wild life so close I need to do our verandah often ..but its worth it to watch the birds out the window... We also get (besides the Parrots) other birds like Kookaburra`s, Magpies (who have a loverly song/call), pidgeons,Doves,Pee`wees,Minor Birds etc etc I love them all... Here is a Kookaburra taken many years ago before we re did our verandah....

I spent the day at home it was sooo nice not to have to go anywhere...I cleaned down the veranda (washed off birds poop) we have a lot of wild birds (parrots ) come visit ....cleaned the pool ..did a couple of hours of ironing then relaxed with my boys (parrots ) Sunny and Buddy .. I am about to put away the ironing now and think about starting dinner ..what a relaxing day.. Happy to have dropped another kilo too.. :redface: :thumbup: I hope everyone is having a good week.....and all my LBT mates on the other side of the world enjoy your Tuesday ....:confused: a few piccys of the wild fids (feathered kids) outside and my boys in flight...

Thanks Diana, I hope not to have one again or at least not too often , it was something I definatley will not be looking forward to again..:w00t:..BUT at least I now know I have a band before that I had had no problems even after the operation , I was wondering if the actually put it in .... Its a Sunny Sunday here too hot a day for Autumn , I am relaxing with hubby and the birds ...We are going to place another possum or bird box in one of our trees later today ... I love watching the birds by day and I feed the scraps from my birds to the possums by night .... Hope your enjoying your weekend ... Marion.. I DID It..... Yes I had my first ride today , with my sister .. Hubby Joe and son David came with us to the factory and we practiced for 45mins late this afternoon , I was so scared and very wobbly but didn`t crash and didn`t need training wheels , I think a few practices at the factory (when no one is at work) we will be o.k the industrial area is really quite too so we will go around the block as well .... Here I am , I hope the excersize helps with the weight loss , but it helps with my mood I felt so good and happy to be actually outside doing something .... I hope everyone is doing well and have a great weekend all... ME..62yrs My Sister..57yrs I am uploading a video clip I took of hubby and son riding our bikes...I think they might want to get one now too... I`ll share it tomorrow , it takes a while to upload... Well the Bike arrived yesterday afternoon ...I am excited and also a bit scared its been well over 30 years since I have been on a bike (I hope it comes back to me) ..I am off to take my parents shopping and for lunch out hopefully hubby will put the bike together for me and late this afternoon we will go over to our factory (which has a big parking area ) its in a nice quite street in an industrial area so I will have some privacy while I see if I remember how to ride ..lol.. excited and a little scared.... Anyone got any plans..??? I haven`t had chocolate since 1st February...and I have promised myself a easter egg on Easter Sunday..:Banane20: can`t wait .. I just hope I don`t fall OFF the wagon BUT I don`t want never to be able to eat chocolate again ..just not like before LIKE a Family block at a time :Banane20:.... My Boys have their Birthdays on 1st and the 4th of April (big Boys 35 and 30) so we are having a Family BBQ here on Easter Sunday , I hope the weather will be fine ... I am off to have a nice hot shaower wash my hair before cooking curried chicken , veggies and rice for dinner.. Its Newcastle Show Day Holiday tomorrow so Joe will be home , I will still be taking my parents shopping and out for lunch with my sister ...My Bike arrived today so hopefully Joe will put it together tomorrow on his day off... Then the fun will start I hope it comes back to me (how to ride) , I am sure my kids think I am nutz and going through a second childhood phaze... The birds always seem to want to get clean when I am cleaning the house they both took a bath and are wet little boys sitting here preening on me at the moment ..I will take them into the shower with me they will dry off better under the heat lights in there while watching me get clean .... Hi !! I just found this place (Feb 10 Banders)...I post mainly in the Sixties Forum(cause I an 62 ) or the Australian support group..... I was banded on 24th Feb and feel great...I started to diet on Feb 1st my weight was 118kilo`s I am now down to 106kilos and have averaged 1kilo a week since the operation... Had no problems with any of the diet stages 1 week liquids 2 weeks mushies now I eat normal food in small portions (bread and butter size plate for dinner) Small mouthfuls chew chew chew ....I feel like a rabbit but I must be doing something right as I haven`t had any pain or gaging ..fingers crossed it stays that way.. I will pop in here as well as on the other 2 forums I visit now... I hope everyone is doing well.. Goodnight from downunder have a great Wednesday (Hump Day) those on the other side of the globe... I am sure you will still have moments of doubt and concern , I did but pushed ahead and am so glad I didn`t give in to my fears ....so unfounded...I did wake from surgery thinking OMG what have I done to myself ..lol but those thoughts vanished asthe days went on and the weight came off....YOU WILL BE FINE ....... Feeling GR88888888888888888888T , Lost 2kilos in the 2 weeks on mushies.... AND I CAN EAT NORMAL FOODS NOW........Yeah !!! I came home and had 3 cruskits with low fat cheese spread , it was so much better than having yogurt, I like Yogurt BUT after 2 weeks I wanted a change.... FOR dinner I managed 1/4 salmon fillet ,1 potato 4 asparagus spears a spoon of Quinoa (instead of rice) and am as full as a goog, a bread and butter plate and I couldn`t finish it ....I was so looking forward to it real food after 5 weeks and thought I could demolish the lot no problems ...But thats great proves to me the band is working even though I don`t have a fill yet.. I am Booked for Tuesday 6th April (Easter Tuesday) for my first fill............3 weeks ... I told the dietitian I was going to have a Easter egg to Celebrate ... will be my first chocolate since February and I LOVE CHOCOLATE......... Can you tell I feel very very HAPPY .......

We all do our own thing on Wednesday nights too , I had a toasted muffin and a small can of weight watchers Baked Beans, and later for dessert a diet chocolate pudding (tub).... :scared2: Quinoa is a seed that I saw cooked on Australia`s Biggest Looser show used in place of rice , I checked it out its a lot healthier for you and all the family liked it , I had no trouble eating it so I will use it quite often.. I got it in the health food section of the supermarket.... Heres the link on it...
