I decided to go with the Lap Band operation after not being happy with myself for sometime now. I am Pre Lap Band at the present. I have always been a size 12 or fourteen and then went to a size 18 presently for the past four year's, I was into modeling and also do some still for some Boutiques.But am not content with the weight I'm at. Which is 205 pounds.every one tells me what a pretty woman I am and my weight fools them. A I don't sow what I weigh. (Thank God). I want to slim down and manage my weight. And with all kinds od diets and trying different excercise programs and weight clinics, It's not enough.So spoke to my Primary Doctor and he said he would back my up and refer me. So here I am now getting my testing done. Iam a very good candidate for surgery.I know that Lap Band is a tool that will help me and the rest is uo to me wo use the tool to help me lose the weight. Eat healthy I do, But eat larger portions then I need to.So have disciplined myself in that manner. I don't have a sweet tooth, But did like chips and pretzels. I have stayed away from the chips. And only have a couple pretzels when I have a craving for salt.I want to feel good about myself. Have no health problems and so that is in my good corner. But want to take control before I do.Does anyone have any advice for me? I would love to have friends that are going through the same thing or has had the Lap Band already. Any good advice would be appreciated.I want to look good and get into my clothes that looked good on me before.And to make myself feell better on my looks and such. And to be healthy the reest of my life.It's a process I know. I am a nurse and know what is best for me and my health.
