Today is my 4 year band anniversary. .still rocking it:))

So went to the dr.and said theres not a kink in my band and all is great..soo happy

Went in for my check up and decided to get a small fill when they tried to remove the fluid to see how much was in the band I could feel it tugging. They couldn't remove any fluid. They reviewed my upper gi disk and it shows as plain as day its kinked.I know they had a recall for this for my band but only on the ones that weren't placed in anyone..

Anyone been told they have a kink in their band?? If so whats the outcome. I dont see the surgeon till Tuesday.

I too get a hiccup and runny nose that let's me know I'm gonna be stuck if I try to put anything else in my mouth. .I Thought I was the only one that got these signals

I was banded oct 26 th 09 and have lost 62 lbs. Am doing Zumba 4 times a week and walking 5 days..I am very happy to have achieved this weight loss wouldn't trade it for any other weight loss:lol:

I had surgery on Oct 09.. I have had 3 fills and am currently at 7ccs in a 14cc band and I have restriction am down 60 lbs..
