I’m 5’ 2, I had a band to sleeve revision. My weight on the day of my sleeve surgery was 174. I am currently at 162.6... and have been for 2 weeks, this is the lowest I have ever gotten even with the band. It is slow going, hopefully I will start dropping again. -
@jacon I had my favorite Thai soup and it did not go well. Severe dumping occurred at work...

@Leanbean right now I am eating Chicken Breast that I put in the food processor with a little mustard, onion chopped very fine and a tablespoon of relish for lunch. It is delicious lol. I also eat one scrambled egg with a tiny bit of mozzarella cheese and a little salsa for dinner. I’m still working on what to eat for breakfast. I put the unflavored protein powder on everything.
-
@Leanbean I was also sleeved on 7/24 down 17 lbs. My Dr. cleared me for soft food starting Monday and I was ready! I was having trouble getting my protein, the shakes make me nauseous so that was a no go. Getting in right at my 60 grams yesterday and today.

I just had a band to sleeve revision on 7/24. Best decision ever.

I’m in the DFW area. I had a Band to Sleeve revision on 7/24/18.

Currently on week 3 of a revision from Lap Band to the Sleeve.

It gets better. I'm also a band to sleeve patient, although I had my band out years before I got sleeved. Be prepared, you will likely lose slower than some of the freshly sleeved. I'm averaging 1-2lbs per week.

The weight loss is definitely slower. I was averaging a pound a day the first week and a half after the sleeve surgery. Now it is about half a pound a day. I’m just taking it one day at a time though 😊

Looking for Size 10 Jeans/DFW Area
Mrsplace posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Hi I am looking for size 10 jeans and medium tops. I am in the DFW area. Thanks, Robin -
Hi All, I went in yesterday to have my Fluid checked and see if I could get a little more added to my band. I have not had any restriction since I had an unfill in February. Well they have determined that I have a leak at my port (stem). I am wondering how difficult it is to get the insurance companies to approve this. Bariatric Surgery is covered by my insurance but it has to be preaproved. Is this considered Bariatric surgery? ..... thanks for all the input. Robin

I did speak to my insurance company and they told me that I would need to have the Dr. call in with the code for the procedure. Lap Band surgery is covered by my insurance. They need the code so they can see if I need to have prequalification for this repair. I am hoping not since it is a repair and not the actual Lap Band surgery. Thanks, Robin

I am feeling much better today. I had a little nausea yesterday but nothing to bad. I actually slept all night last night. The gas pains are going away thank goodness. I just keep telling myself it will be better in a couple of days. Thanks for all your support and information.

Ok, had the surgery yesterday. I must admit I am real sore. Maybe because they did the hernia repair also. It has gotten better as the day has progressed. Just wondering if anyone else had pain in the left side only. That is where my incisions are, so that is probably the reason. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Ok here goes... I have been trying to get the lap band for about 4 years now. First time my insurance would not approve... then I waited and waited, now I have new insurance and I am on my way. I have a surgery date for February 12th. I must say that I am really excited. I just wish it were already here.
