I'll probably fill this out better later.  Over the last 30 years, I piled on the weight, especially after I got a desk job.  I've done multiple diets and exercise programs.  High protein/low carb works best for me.  I like weightlifting and my elliptical trainer, so my aerobic fitness isn't too bad.
I've lost and gained a lot of my extra weight at least four times in the last 15 years but I can't keep it off.  I realized I need something more.I have signs of metabolic syndrome and aching knees.  I decided I wanted to do something before I collected all the comorbidities.
1/30/10 - I'm seeing Dr. Orris at WLIA in Mesa, AZ and am currently in the pre-op stage of the process.  Most of my labs are finished and I'm waiting on the pre-op clearance appointments to get the surgery scheduled.
