    This may sound odd but I was banded on tuesday and yes I am sore in the shoulders and the tummy a little where the port is. However, my stomach is growling so bad! Ive been having broth and water and protein shakes but I am craving pudding or sherbert or cottage cheese! How do I know when I'm ready? I didn't know what to expect after bring banded, but I don't feel much different! Was I even banded?

    Im banded too! I was banded at 12pm! I stayed till about 1:30 am. Never having surgery I felt a little sick and oh so tired, but im surprised how well it went!

    It's so great to know im not alone! Im 25 and 6ft and dont remember being anything smaller than a size 14. I suck in my face to try.and get.a feel lol

    Please help me, I need advice. as I type this my eyes are filled with tears. I have been living on protein shakes, water, broth, jello... I feel as though I was hit by a bus. Im dizzy, I've slept all weekend (which isn't like me). I'm getting banded on the 14th. I don't know if I can do this without eating something. Please help.

    thank you all so much. I go in tomorrow to my doctor and im going to let him know how awful I feel! Does anyone know why some of us need this diet for 1, 2, 3 weeks? I am so close to having a cracker. I'm just so worried it will mess up my whole surgery

    Thank you. I am having 2-3 protein shakes a day. Im reading on here some people are having 6+. I go see my doc tomorrow for my last appt. I am just in so much pain.

    I want this surgery more than anything. I have my first appt this next week with a doctor. Can anyone tell me any idea how long it can take to be approved by insurance? I am so scared but I want to be healthy and happy once agian.
